Correct. They are the best team out there, and it would be nice to see a non-P5-or-Big East school win it and go undefeated.

Screw Gonzaga. They play a soft schedule and for an IU fan that is the only thing we have left to hold onto is an unbeaten season.

Got 3 of 4 Final Four. I have Baylor beating Gonzaga but damn. UCLA is playing probably the best basketball of the 4.

Sounds like the supreme court is close to ruling in favor of students getting paid by the NCAA

I don't agree with the logic being applied comparing the players to workers and stating college has a monopoly

players don't *have* to go to college and college does not have a monopoly on athletes playing basketball

they are also compensated by an industry standard scholarship which equates to roughly $100K to $200K depending on the school

but I'm not a judge on Scotus.

I agree that it's a slippery slope but the NCAA is the most inept institution in all of sports and has pretty much shit all over itself with this and it's probably the end of college sports as we know it.

If they rule that students are employees, then the bottom line is this

students go to class, employees go to work.

If the school is paying these kids to play sports then the incentive , which admittedly is pretty low anyways, its completely gone for them to get any kind of education, or even pretend that is still a priority.

Speaking of Indiana, they are the 3rd highest revenue producing basketball program in America behind UK and Louisville.
