Re: Florida State Seminoles
#TeamBlue has already admitted their strategy for winning elections in the "For the People Act" which they want in order to make all of the voting laws that they believe they benefit from in certain jurisdictions now, be confirmed as the the rules by federal law nationwide.
They want every state to require same day voter registration. They want every state to have automatic voter registration. Federally mandated early voting periods. Expanded vote by mail. Restrictions or removal of the ability to remove voters from a states roll. It restricts the states ability to require identification with their vote. #TeamBlue want to essentially maximize the ability to harvest ballots from every possible voter, and limit the ability to challenge ballots and eliminate voter caging.
#TeamRed obviously views most of these things as "legalizing cheating" but its not inherently fraudulent or illegal where the law allows these things, but its arguably a framework for centralizing a way fraudulent actors could operate on large numbers of ballots.
We are headed toward an electoral system that resembles more like having the old school urban "Tammany Hall" type political machines decide the elections vs what I always considered the modern way where individual decisions and how they really feel decide the elections mostly, not only through the actual votes cast, but also decided largely by voter apathy/excitement and turnout (ie the asshole who's voters are motivated enough to show up, wins). We are headed more towards a two rival political machines determining elections where there is always close to 100% turnout, and where "voting" is done by #TeamBlue and #TeamRed operatives going "door to door" and collecting all of "their" ballots and casting them for all of the voters.
IMO #TeamBlue is moving us toward what, in my view, is a much more dystopian version of elections, although there are definitely negative things about the way #TeamRed wants to do things as well.

Everyone will be voting by internet soon enough. When people can just cast their vote on their phone, then we'll have real democracy. God help us when that happens...

Re: Florida State Seminoles
Mainly it makes the voter work harder to vote. And just like I said that the TeamBlue preferred way of voting seems to allow a framework for fraudulent actors to insert fraudulent ballots, the TeamRed version can offer a framework for fraudulent actors to throw out legal ballots.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
TeamRed likes to believe that its better to make it hard on some people and risk throwing out some legal votes in order to make sure that people arent casting fraudulent votes.
Team Blue believes that its better to allow some fraudulent votes than risk throwing out legal votes or making it harder for someone to vote. The reality is that of course both sides are dickhead, mewling politicians and that throwing out legal votes and allowing fraudulent votes are both equally bad.
Both sides naturally claim that "Oh but we would NEVER cheat by (throwing out real votes/inserting fraudulent votes) but really everybody knows politics is full of liars and cheaters that would always do exactly those things.

Congressman Thomas Massie......
Once you realize the personal ethical standards of so-called health policy experts like Dr. Fauci and many of those at the CDC lead them to comfortably misrepresent scientific data in order to achieve public policy goals, it is not just your prerogative to question their “science,” it is your duty.

Would you consider the AIDS in the 80's and 90's a pandemic?

Re: Florida State Seminoles
That might not have technically been a pandemic by definition, but it was a substantial and deadly viral outbreak, and Fauci was on the front line of finding a way to deal with it. Bottom line is, the guy is an infectious diseases expert, by education, training and decades of experience in real world situations. Why would you question this guy's bona fides?

I don't understand all the hype of this annual letter that Warren Buffett puts out every year. The last 10 years you would have been better putting your money in an S&P index mutual fund than Berkshire Hathaway.

Yeah, that's really baffling. Maybe the fact that he's accumulated a personal fortune of $85 billion solely thru investments has something to do with it...

Re: Florida State Seminoles
I'm watching some panel at the QPAC conference right now, a guy from the Heritage Foundation's center for legal and judicial studies was just asked what they'd been up to lately, he started listing some stuff, including (this is verbatim): "We have this election fraud database, I think you all know we're up to 1300 cases." Wow, 1300 cases, out of over 150 million votes. Although I'm not sure that the 1300 "cases" he was referring to was just for the 2020 election, it could've been something they've been working on much longer than that, in which case the 1300 "cases" they have of election fraud is even more paltry. And of course, if they are truly looking into elections fraud (and I have no reason to think they're not) my guess is that something close of half of the cases involve republican election fraud. Still, 1300 cases. Wow, what a problem...
