I'm getting real tired of Calapari making such a big deal out of UK being drafted and/or having success in the NBA. I hate that fucking NBA. They are blood sucking leaches and they destroying college basketball. If a player gets drafted in the first round WTF good does that do for UK.

Kentucky was pretty close to a consensus top-10 team in the preseason, and a number of experts had the 'Cats in the top five once Wake Forest transfer Olivier Sarr got eligible. There's a long way to go to match North Carolina's disastrous performance last season, but things don't look great.

You could excuse Kentucky fans if they weren't happy with that first half. Georgia Tech entered at 0-2 and might not even make the NIT, but the Wildcats couldn't get off to the fast start that they did against Kansas. Adding to the frustration, the ESPN broadcast put Georgia Tech alum and former New York Yankees star Mark Teixeira on screen for an extended run of action for no apparent reason.
