so I ended up getting my money back from the no show contractor. I didn't have to go crazy redneck on him either. After about 5 attempts of him saying he'd come by and never showed I just ended up leaving a veiled threat to "bring in someone from the outside to intervene on my behalf " if I didn't get the money by a certain time and then I ignored him trying to call me twice. He showed up with the money.

Tried that too. 6 days later I was released on ROR.
