I think Trump handled the tax thing wrong from the start. His position should have been I paid as little in taxes as possible, its every Americans right, heck, their obligation, to minimize their tax liability to the fullest extent the law allows. If people aren't happy with the tax structure then change it, elect officials that want to raise your taxes. I'm not that guy.

These debates are going to be pure unfiltered comedy. Think Trump will call him Sleepy Joe to his face or leave that to when he hides behind Twitter? Not really sure why we need a debate. Trump lied his way through the 2016 ones making promises he never kept. Think he'll do anything less tonight.

He already knows he's going to lose. Thus the bullshit justice pick. Can't wait to see the Trumpettes spin tonights show.

I'm sure Biden will make a gaffe or two, and Fox will run panel discussions on it for a week, but this type of forum is not Trump's strong suit, at all. He's used to running off at the mouth to an adoring crowd, they don't care what lie he spews, they're going to cheer at anything. But esp. in a hall with very few people and a moderator who is well known for calling out bullshit and asking tough follow-up questions, Trump is just not very good.

He did a town hall a couple weeks ago, it was a disaster, one lady was standing there crying, telling about how her mother had died of cancer, she asked him something about healthcare and Trump just started blabbing about coronavirus, and how we've done better than anyone, blahblahblah, and then made a comment which made it plain that he thought the woman's mother had died of coronavirus, not cancer. If Biden had done that, he would've been crucified for being too senile to remember something that was told to him 30 seconds earlier, but when Trump does it it doesn't even register.

Oh yeah, and during the town hall, where Trump was supposed to be sitting there and taking questions and listening to voters' concerns, he actually tweeted. During a fucking town hall meeting with voters, and he's sitting there tweeting. He has the mind and attention span of a teenage girl. I think he's going to make a fool of himself tonight, as he usually does when he speaks publicly, but his supporters won't care or even notice...

Look at what Biden did tonight - he rejected AOC's Green New Deal, He rejected Bernie Sanders Medicaid for All ,and he couldn't name a single law enforcement group that supports him. He refused to answer questions.

You can make it about Trump, but Biden said some things will make progressives stay home. Moderates were probably meh with both of him.

If that's what you're putting all your chips on, I think you're going to be disappointed. And Hillary is 1000x the politician and human being Trump will ever be, in terms of intelligence, empathy, human decency, you name it. The greatest tragedy in the history of this country is that Hillary isn't the president right now. I have grave reservations about her, but compared to Trump she's George Washington, Churchill, Gandhi and Jesus Christ combined....
