My son works at a hotel now and he's learned that men will check into the hotel, then go to the back entrance of the hotel and prop the door open to let their side woman in as to not be seen entering the hotel together, so he fucks with them by going back and locking the door, then watches their frustration on the surveillance camera. (They aren't supposed to keep that door open).

he does have some pretty good stories lately.

Maybe once a month he gets propositioned by an older woman (old to him is like 35). Last week someone called the police on him and accused him of stealing $100 because the hotel charges all debit cards $100 ahead of time and refunds the difference after the bill. The couple having sex in the pool, the woman shooting heroin and passing out in the lobby...

he's yet to have someone die on him there yet.

he has to do the less appealing stuff too though - dealing with noise complaints, clogged toilets, people smoking when the hotel is non smoking, people finding pubic hairs in the sink, etc.,

its one of the better chain hotels if you're wondering.

the door stays locked, the men just prop it open so their woman can get in. So he goes around and shuts the door so its not propped open, then watches her try to get in, calls the man on the cell phone and he has to come down and open the door.

it gets pretty boring working the front desk so he finds entertainment where he can.

They are opening a new hotel next summer and he's penciled in as a manager, which I'm afraid is going to kill any ambition he has to finish college. I'm hoping to compromise with him and at least have him get something like a meaningless management degree so he can move up in that field of work.

Actually, it's an Indian caste thing. I have two hotel groups that are run by Patels. They explained that historically in India the Patels were destined to be in this business per the caste system. It was happening long before they came over here.
