all the common areas - the lounges /kitchens in the dorms, meeting spaces , etc - are closed on campus. All the dining halls are grab-n-go , you cannot sit down and eat, and of course the city has shut down alcohol sales for 2 weeks.

I can see the city and the college students tolerating that for 2 weeks. Then if the numbers won't improve, which I doubt they will, all hell is going to break loose if they try to extend is another 2 weeks.

I just talked to my daughter trying to set expectations with her, but it has to be a pretty miserable experience right now if you are 19-22 years old. My guess is I'll be bringing her back home mid September as the college goes completely online with some minor lab exceptions.
