I can't believe Democrats are banking on this guy for the win
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
listening to Barr on Fox being interviewed.
He points out the hypocrisy of governors/mayors who allow protesting as a first amendment right but won't allow people to congregate at churches.
He also pointed out how the ACLU and other civil rights organizations didn't say a word in support of Flynn having his case dismissed and attempted to withdraw his guilty plea. Normally the ACLU would be all over something like that and declare it an abuse of power to set up a meeting with Flynn not tied to any criminal investigation in an attempt to get him to perjure himself.

Really just banking on Trump to lose. Pretty much shows you what a disaster dems think Trump is that we're fine with Biden. The more interesting phenomenon in all this is that dems as a voting bloc decided they'd rather have Biden than Bernie. For all the Fox News hand-wringing over dems being socialists, I think that says something...

So true although I thought the rule was that we're not supposed to actually say it out loud.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
This from a guy who just a few months ago was one of Trump's biggest critics and was seen on Fox at least 2-3 times a week bashing Trump and calling for his removal. Amazing how some 'intelligent' people finally get the message. Wish others here at TGP and especially those who don't posses that 'intelliget' characteristic could do the same.

OJ Simpson - wealthy - yes, White? no
justice , like politics , is for sale.
if you can't pay for a good attorney and get some guy doing court assigned litigator, your fucked - thats our justic system. Now throw in plea bargaining against multiple counts to get high convictions rates and its not hard to understand why there appears to be racial inequality in the system. What they don't point out is that there is no racial inequality in the prosecutors and judges. Kamala Harris sent as many African Americans to jail as any white prosecutor would have.

That's how I see it between Hillary and Trumphedge wrote: ↑Mon Aug 10, 2020 8:09 am "I can't believe Democrats are banking on this guy for the win"

Few people wanted Trump , as a person, as president. But it came down to we will happily elect a narcissist with no experience in the political arena over a corrupt politician who has no limits to what she would do to personally enrich herself. Trump made it easier by researching hot button topics middle America got energetic about and that Hillary stood against.
Now the narrative has changed. The election will hinge on whether people really want Biden's all inclusive approach of "I'll support every progressive agenda in order to be president".
I question the strategy - Biden probably would have beat Trump in 2016 just because he was a moderate and could tie in to Obama.
Now he's catering to Sanders, AOC, BLM and to some extent Antifa, he'll go out and get a woman progressive VP who might very well be the nominee in 4 years.
I think its going to turn alot of people who were fed up with Trump, back to Trump just because they can't imagine America run under this power grab against even those with moderate wealth while pandering to the cancel culture/defund the police/rioting is a protected first amendment right extremists.

more exercising their first amendment rights...
Hundreds of people swept through the Magnificent Mile and other parts of downtown Chicago early Monday, smashing windows, looting stores, confronting police and at one point exchanging gunfire with officers, authorities said.
The officers had stopped several people on Lake Street near Michigan Avenue when shots were fired from a passing car around 4:30 a.m., nearly five hours into the widespread vandalism, according to police spokesman Tom Ahern. No officers were shot but a squad car was hit, he said. It was not known if anyone in the gunman’s car was shot.
Ahern said other officers were injured through the night. Earlier, an officer was seen slumped against a building by Grand and Wabash avenues as other other cops tended to him. It was unclear what had happened to him. Ahern had no details on the injuries.
The looting began shortly after midnight as people darted through broken store windows and doors along Michigan Avenue carrying shopping bags full of merchandise. Cars dropped off more people as the crowd grew. At least one U-Haul van was seen pulling up.
Police made “a lot of arrests” and recovered at least one gun, officials said. One woman with shopping bags in her hands fell on the sidewalk as an officer was chasing her. Another woman appeared to have been pepper-sprayed. A rock was thrown at a squad car.
The looting seemed to be centered in Streeterville and North Michigan Avenue, but some looting was reported on State Street in the Loop and on the Near North Side. By 4 a.m. police appeared to be getting things under control.
But some vandalism continued into the daylight hours, and the CTA suspended train and bus service into downtown during the morning rush, while the Illinois state police blocked off ramps from expressways. Bridges across the Chicago River were raised, except for the one on LaSalle Street for emergency vehicles.
People were seen running out of a PNC Bank, its windows smashed, at Huron and State streets. Down the block, other stores, including a Sally Beauty Supply, had been cleaned out by vandals. Other parts of downtown, including around Grand and Wabash avenues, were littered with trash.
Crowds repeatedly tried to bash in the windows of the Omega watch store at Delaware Place and Michigan Avenue.
“The watch store,” one officer said. “They’re gonna get it eventually.”
A group of people went in and out through a broken window of the Louis Vuitton store along Walton Place across the street from the Drake Hotel. A squad car drove by and the group ran away.
But as the car rode off, at least one person tried to go into the shop. The police returned.
“Go home!” One cop shouted.
“You go home!” Someone shouted, apparently back at the officer.

You consider Kamala Harris a progressive? You just said in a previous post that she'd locked up as many black people as any white prosecutor. Progressivism should be made of sterner stuff...

I don't think he'll get Kamala.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him go with Susan Rice especially since she is a Obama holdover and she developed the pandemic response team while he was in office.

So the Dem-wits constantly insist there's no chance of voter fraud in the November Presidential election by letting people vote by mail in ballots. Yeah, right. Stupidity comes in many forms.

Donald Trump Blames Obama for NYC Ebola Case, Calls for His Resignation
By Margaret Hartmann https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2014/10 ... -case.html
Yeah, true story - Donnie wanted Obama to resign after TWO Ebola deaths.
Fast forward to now....164k dead and Trump cheerleads for schools to open up while claiming kids are immune. Our national plan is to hope the virus will disappear, or we'll get a vaccine - whichever comes first.

Not if you had the Saturday night I had...
Others felt it at our friend's lake house (White Lake), but I was sleeping off the two previous nights and the day before.
Good Lord. I can't believe I was stupid enough to agree to get pulled on the tube. I'm still sore.
I proudly took AFAM 040 at Carolina.
