Are you claiming the White House had no rule? The last time I checked, Trump's cabinet member, Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin, was in the middle of everything. So, you can't claim that the White House wasn't involved. Trump's handpicked Treasury Secretary was there...aTm wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 10:22 pmThe difference being that Nancy Pelosi actually had a hand in writing and voting on the law that she benefitted from..but whatever. Unearthing the scum that is our government just doesn't seem to get the clicks or that nice hand in glove fit with the agenda that following around the idiot, asshole celebrity President like you’re reporting for “Entertainment Tonight” instead of “The News” does.

I read that - Noam Chonksy approves
What they don't like is the idea that cancel culture will come after them soon, they had no problem when they were the decision makers

Damn, New York has really fallen off. I used to think of New York as the city of the mafia and tough gangs, those motherfuckers look like some Kansas City faggots who rolled into town and got mad. But hey, at least Crotch is terrified...

From Trump’s Mt. Rushmore Speech:
One of their political weapons is “Cancel Culture” — driving people from their jobs, shaming dissenters, and demanding total submission from anyone who disagrees. This is the very definition of totalitarianism, and it is completely alien to our culture and our values, and it has absolutely no place in the United States of America. This attack on our liberty, our magnificent liberty, must be stopped, and it will be stopped very quickly. We will expose this dangerous movement, protect our nation’s children, end this radical assault, and preserve our beloved American way of life.

May 2020: The day after Twitter appended a fact check link to dishonest Trump claims about mail-in voting, Trump threatens to shut down social media companies: "Republicans feel that Social Media Platforms totally silence conservatives voices. We will strongly regulate, or close them down, before we can ever allow this to happen."

Re: Florida State Seminoles
social media is a cancer
I'm not sure how you regulate it but it has way too much power to influence our daily lives.
This isn't a left or right thing - I think everyone can agree the dangers of social media.
Think about how many completely false posts have circulated and become accepted as real - its happens hundreds if not thousands of times a day, and all of us here have been burned them in some form or another
now imagine people taking to the streets or being called to action on one of these false posts - either submitted by foreign operatives or dishonest people or just well intentioned but uninformed posters.
And while there are some positives to social media reaching out to the masses and bypassing the media, the "professional" media has reacted poorly to wielding the influence of social media where any yahoo has the same voice as the dedicated journalist. They now mix those two worlds and each one drives the other to respond.
I place the division in this country largely due to social media.
I'd bet conservatively that 60% of the information we would receive and react to would never reach us without social media.
I was telling my son about that group called the Red Guard in Austin, Tx. 20 years ago I would have never heard about them, nor would I have cared if they exist. Now, based on 1 report on twitter, I , and thousands of other people, believe they are a threat.
