Ha, I know exactly where that is. Who the fuck wants to loot shitty tourist shops just off of the Alamo plaza?...well, maybe the candy store thats a little further up the road right there for a snack.

LMAO. I hope this is fake news, but a guy on twitter is claiming that Joe Biden just offered the following solution to the BLM problem...
"there are a lot of different things that can change" about police training. One example he said was if cops rushed by unarmed person, they could "shoot them in the leg instead of the heart is a very different thing."

Police officers and National Guard soldiers enforcing a curfew in Louisville killed a man early Monday when they returned fire after someone in a large group fired at them first, the city's police chief said.A shocked witness said the group had nothing to do with the protests, adding he never “thought I would experience that here in America.”

Police Chief Steve Conrad confirmed the shooting happened around 12:15 a.m. outside a food market on West Broadway, where police and the National Guard had been called to break up a large group of people gathering in defiance of the city's curfew.

Someone fired a shot at them and both soldiers and officers returned fire, the chief said. It was unclear if the person killed is the one who fired at the law enforcers. Several “persons of interest” were being interviewed, he said.

News outlets showed video taken by someone in a car parked at a gas station. It recorded the sound of bullets being fired as groups of police and national guard soldiers crouched behind cars.

Look man, I'm all for law and order, I've got plenty to lose if the world goes to hell. But you're acting like local police and some half ass national guard squad full of weekend warriors (see First Blood) is going to be able to stop a literal flood of truly pissed off people. Have you ever watched The Walking Dead? Or the last season of Game of Thrones? That's what you could be dealing with, hoards of people that won't stop. And if you kill a few dozen of them in a rage for "law and order", their numbers will then increase exponentially. Rinse and repeat. Yeah, you might get some momentary satisfaction that some scofflaws got what was coming to them, but then you're going to get a flood of people who were activated and weaponized by the very "law and order" response that satisfied you so much. It's in my best interest that people stay calm. I suspect it's in your best interest as well. You start shooting up a bunch of protesters (or rioters or whatever the fuck you want to call them) then things are going to escalate quickly. I'm sure that's in somebody's best interest, but I don't think it's in mine or yours...
Shit got somewhat intense here Saturday. They looted a damn JC Penney's and a Wal Mart, and there were lots of windows busted downtown and in the Market House (oldest standing building, city symbol, etc, but was used for slave auctions on occasion...so the black community hates it). They tried to set the Market House on fire -- forgetting that brick doesn't burn very well -- but the worst fire damage was on the dumbass who had the poor man's molotov cocktail spill all over him when he tried to pick it up and throw it again. All of this happened 1-1.5 miles from my house, and the "word" is that they're starting back up today. I think they may be somewhat legit because government offices and the courthouse are closing early. J Cole and Dennis Smith Jr were down there. To their credit, they were trying to calm the minority of folks causing shit. Police and fire units were held back until it got rowdy. White conservatives claim the black mayor and black police chief did it in tacit support of the violence, but I think they were smart and avoided causing confrontation and blood shed. The police exacerbated a lot of things in Raleigh per friend who has a senior position in Wake County government, and this guy isn't exactly a bleeding heart liberal. He's an old money conservative / libertarian type.

Rumors swirled yesterday that traditionally white neighborhoods and the country club would get hit last night. I knew it was hyperbole, but I was prepared in case some lunatic came into the house. Those folks talking about confronting people in their yards are fucking idiots though. In the off chance some group did come into the neighborhood, using a firearm to confront a large group would be about the worst fucking idea. You're going to get trampled and die. You may take some out, but numbers will likely prevail (if they don't all cut and run).

Plus, if they burned down that house and I was guaranteed that my family would be safe and that all of my irreplaceable valuables were protected, I wouldn't be shedding a tear. I might even roast a marshmellow or two when away from the wife. I hate that damn thing.

We rode downtown yesterday, there were about 6 people standing in front of the courthouse holding up signs. No police, but in fairness the police station is right across the street, so somebody was probably keeping an eye on things thru the blinds b/w checking their Facebook feed and eating doughnuts. There was a larger group in front of WalMart, less than 100 I'd say (maybe closer to 50, but then there were also gawkers like me riding around the parking lot and other people just hanging around their cars)...

This was the National Guard’s staging area in downtown Memphis last night.

I found it funny that the local Fox affiliate repeatedly referred to the Hummers as “tanks” before someone presumably corrected them while they were live broadcasting.

The hilarious "wtf, why are you running over me with your car!?" reaction that comes up when these protests get out of hand is always "hilarious" but this one, where one guy runs over to a cop for help particularly entertaining. You're out protesting the evil cops, numbskull. What's he gonna do?

I wouldn't want to be in Omaha tonight

white bar owner shot black protestor point blank when protestor decided protesting wasn't enough and escalated to assault.

The Israeli's have a tactic for dispersing rioters (well its one of them anyways)

They use a .22, in this case a Ruger 10/22 that is supressed and they shoot the leaders of the riots, wounding them but not killing them.

Once shot, the leaders are in no mood to lead a riot and the followers usually disperse.

Whats sad is these white Antifa guys are rounding up local blacks to wage their aggression while they play general behind the scenes.

You'd think the last thing blacks would want in this situation is hipster antifa guys showing up in their Amazon black cargo pants and patagonia knit caps telling them to go incite riots.

anyways, here a picture of Israelis using a supressed .22 to negotiate for them

Spent the day downtown visiting numerous protests all commencing in a walk towards city hall (see my Facebook). Not a bottle thrown. Not a window broken. Not even a bad word to police. Just handshakes and fist bumps. White people handing out free water water bottles. Black people pushing white people in wheelchairs. There is a difference between protestors and looters. This was an amazing experience. Had to be there to be sure. Yep. Awesome crowd. Not even a hint of violence. Even caught up with my youngest. Great time. No way these thousands are interested in violence.
