I know no one has sympathy for a guy complaining about the cost of a nice vacation

but I was supposed to be on a cruise last week that was canceled due to Covid 19

So yesterday I go to sign up for the same cruise next year, same time, same perks, etc and it costs $800 more. I thought these motherfuckers were having trouble finding passengers.

We've got a trip to Mexico planned at the end of next month, I'm looking forward to hanging out without all the cruise ship bozos clogging everything up...

I'm doing some short trips this year. Our regular weekend trip to the Smokeys next month. Instead of the Upper Peninsula, we're going to hang out with some friends in West Virginia in the fall and for Xmas, we're talking about renting a house in a central location for the families, unfortunately however that appears to be Branson, Mo.

I do have a Breckinridge weekend planned in January but its work related and I think within the next 2 weeks my company is going to announce we are canceling all company events until at least March. I don't think I'm even going to be allowed back into the office until September.
