Will Prof and Crotch journey to the tabernacle to worship jesus's birthday today? Or whatever he hell it's supposed to be. I realize Trump is way more of a god to them than jesus ever was or will be, but they still pretend to worship GEEEE-sus above all others. So, to the tabernacle today or not?

Re: Florida State Seminoles
its funny how people deal with this
me, as long as I have my health, this has a real silver lining, I get to spend time with my college age kids that I wouldn't normally get - with the added bonus of I don't have to worry about what they are doing when I don't see them, I"m more productive, I have a list of projects around the house that I have been putting off and I'm knocking one off every day or two, we're exercising enough that I'm eating all this crap and not gaining weight and I'm able to get things done for work to the extent my boss is happy. I mean I'm not saying I don't have my moments of this sucks and empathy for everyone who is suffering from this, but at the moment we are untouched, and it turns out I don't need a bunch of stores/parks/whatever open to be good.
my wife on the other hand, is losing her shit. She teaches at a local schooll with special needs kids so you can imagine what its like for her to try to get them to be productive on a Xoom video session. One kid fell asleep, another was more concerned about wild animals taking over her neighborhood she wouldn't focus on math, in a group session with regular kids , one student kept interrupting the teacher asking questions about her house and Kings Island. Finally have to mute or something. She hasn't been able to go hang out with her group of friends and one of them had a birthday yesterday which is normally a big celebration. She's taken to day drinking, binge watching and has this sense of impending doom she can't shake. Talking to her COPD 74 year old mother who I think is now living in storm shelter of her boyfriends lake house doesn't help.
We are definitely in a glass is half empty/half full situation.
I will admit for both of us, this stupid virus has so many possible symptoms, its like a cough, sneeze or fart and both of thinks we caught it. I've been giving my son shit about his job as an "essential" and bringing it into the house. He works second shift so we brought him dinner the other night and when I walked in he was wearing a mask, gloves and was wiping down a counter. The benefit of having a slightly OCD child is you put something like that in his head and he singular focuses on it. So that put my mind at ease with him.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
My life hasn't changed at all, except I don't have to worry about getting behind school buses on the way to work in the morning. I'd love to be told not the leave the house for 3 months, even without pay. That would be awesome...

I'm digging it. Not much different than my regular life except gas is cheaper and some stores are closed.

The state of North Carolina produced at least one intelligent, moral human being. Wouldn't it be nice to see more come from NC? What say you, Hedge?

"What say you, Hedge?"
I say good riddance to any religious hucksters, of which Billy Graham was undoubtedly one. He paved the way for other charlatans like Jim and Tammy Faye, Jimmy Swaggart, Jerry Fartwell, Pat Roberson and, my personal favorite, Ernest Angley. HEEEE-UWWWWLLL!!

How was de TAIIIIHHH-ber-NAIIIIHHHH-cle, Crotch? Did you worship fervently yet humbly? Do you pronounce the "h" when you say "humble", or do you say "umble"? Did you umble yourself in the sacristy of the taibernaicle? Did ye drink the milk o' the lamb? Did ye knead the teet o' the laimb? Did ye praise the dove of peace? Did ye praise all the flocks and the fowl, even the foul chicken, though he be craven, though he be brazen?

Re: Florida State Seminoles
Hand it to The New York Times to take up the question of Tara Reade’s sexual-abuse accusations against Joe Biden … on Easter weekend, with its reduced holiday readership, in an article that does its best to minimize her charges.
It’s in stark contrast to the way the Times and its fellows treated the even thinner claims against Brett Kavanaugh during his Supreme Court confirmation hearings. And it underlines the hypocrisy of the “believe all women” double standard.
Reade was a Senate staffer for Biden in 1993 when, she says, he pinned her to a wall, reached beneath her clothing and penetrated her with his fingers. One friend from back then recalls Reade telling her of the assault soon after, and another says she got the story a few years later, as does Reade’s brother.
But she only went public with this account late last month — having leveled lesser charges of inappropriate touching against him last year along with seven other women telling similar tales.
The Times “explains” that it took the intervening weeks to check out her story before reporting it. High up in the story, reporters Lisa Lerer and Sydney Ember note that no other Biden ex-staffers confirm Reade’s claims, no other sex-assault charges have turned up against him and “The Times found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden, beyond the hugs, kisses and touching that women previously said made them uncomfortable.”
Just hours after that story went online Sunday, the paper cut the second half of that sentence — “beyond the hugs, kisses and touching that women previously said made them uncomfortable.” It also deleted a tweet that included the passage.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
if you're going to take down license plates of Church goers and tell them they have to self quarantine for 14 days, its probably a good idea that your state troopers taking down license plates actually practice self distancing, and given they are going to a mass gathering, they should probably be wearing masks and gloves too
