I doubt we will reach 1 million cases here. But only because the population will have stopped acting like "its just the flu!" and event cancellations and some anxiety about germs will have an effect.

The real shame is that all those idiots will all claim victory because flu killed more people or whatever, when the reality is that if we just went along with are normal lives it is highly likely that 100 million people would get it, and hundreds of thousands would die.
