Calling the classic capitalist Warren Buffet a socialist is just idiotic. As Jon Stewart says, you must not know what a socialist is.

Yes I know exactly what Socalism is, but I also know that his "soak the rich" mentality is on that spectrum. You can look it up on Wiki if you like. It's not full blown socalism, but it's part of it, part of the spectrum of state run/state controlled labor/markets etc.

Again, nothing stopping him and his cronies from each cutting a huge check to the gubment.

"socialism
System of social organization in which private property and the distribution of income are subject to social control; also, the political movements aimed at putting that system into practice. Because “social control” may be interpreted in widely diverging ways, socialism ranges from statist to libertarian, from Marxist to liberal. The term was first used to describe the doctrines of Charles Fourier, Henri de Saint-Simon, and Robert Owen, who emphasized noncoercive communities of people working noncompetitively for the spiritual and physical well-being of all (see utopian socialism). Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, seeing socialism as a transition state between capitalism and communism, appropriated what they found useful in socialist movements to develop their “scientific socialism.” In the 20th century, the Soviet Union was the principal model of strictly centralized socialism, while Sweden and Denmark were well-known for their noncommunist socialism. See also collectivism, communitarianism, social democracy."

From the free online dictionary

Taking wealth from one class and "redistributing" it to another is socalism. Note INCOME DISTRIBUTION in the first line. What he is proposing is socialism whether he got his money from capitolism or not his proposal is socialist.

I don't know why that is so hard to understand.

Then by that definition, every President of the 20th century was a Socialist. All have supported various methods of regulating private property through social control. Hell, one could go back to the free land grants and gifts to train barrons. Note PRIVATE PROPERTY in the first line. What most have been proposing is socialism whether they got their money from "capitolism" or not their proposal is socialist.

You probably weren't alive during segregation. Lots of people wrote "segregationist bullshit" then, as it was an accepted practice.
Lots of Germans participated in the harassment, oppression, deportation and killing of Jews. So, should we ignore that since it was an accepted practice?
Your lawyer side is fuckin' you up... I didn't say it was right.

However by the same token, Clinton got a blow job by someone other than his wife and lied about it. No more Democratic presidents.

And if you're a German decent dem voter, you should be killed and have your remains deported.

Repubs need to focus on 2016 and accept the fact there is no chance in hell in stopping Obama from another 4 years. Maybe by then the can get their shit together and start focusing on the people instead of their savings account.

"Your warranty will be safe. In fact, it will be safer than it has ever been. Because starting today, the United States will stand behind your warranty."

It was will be great moment for all mankind when secular thugocracy in Libya is replaced by an Islamist thugocracy. Just like Egypt. Just like Syria, soon. And Iraq and Afghanistan as soon as we leave.

Looks like W's grand vision for the Middle East is finally being validated. All those languishing millions, who have been thirsting for freedom, are rising up against their dictators. They will all finally be free to live as they choose - i.e. in the 7th century under theocratic dictators.
