Even if we somehow managed to beat Alabama, they would still get into the playoffs. They are too big to fail.

Saban has declared that Malzahn's trick play - putting the QB and the punter in the same formation to confuse the defense - is "unfair."

Tomorrow, on a Sunday, the NCAA will ban putting the QB and the punter in the same formation to confuse the defense.

I have to say, that was about as entertaining of a college football game I've seen in a long time, definitely the game of the year IMO. A true classic. I know Bama had a shot in the LSU game, but that game just felt like it was LSU's game pretty much the whole time. This one really went back and forth the entire game. Really fun game to watch for someone who isn't terribly interested in who wins or loses...

I was at our game and sitting in my buddy's box surrounded by Wuffies. The Iron Bowl had everyone's attention from the time we arrived (6pm) until the Iron Bowl ended. It was one heck of a ball game, and I find it amazing that Saban has struggled with Auburn while being outcoached/outfoxed by Malzahn at key junctures over the years. Also, why Saban refuses to use a scholarship on a kicker is beyond me.
