His presidency isn't on treacherous ground. He doesn't give a shit if he gets impeached, which he will. He'll take it as a badge of honor and use it to fire up his base. Unless something truly heinous comes out before the Senate trial (and it could, but it really is hard to imagine anything heinous enough to turn his minions against him) and he gets removed from office (highly doubtful), he'll claim impeachment as a victory. I was reading a story where the democratic movers and shakers are now coming to realization that Elizabeth Warren may very well be the strongest candidate in the field and it scares the shit out of them, they see her as more progressive than Sanders - breaking up tech, implement a 3 trillion dollar health plan that equates to $5700 annually for every American (not counting the surplus of non Americans), and going after the banking , pharmaceutical, etc

She pretty much represents everything that the American people voted against in the last election when giving Trump power.
