I think it is the reason. Trump puts himself first every day.

The possibility of them taking his name off those towers in Istanbul is way more important to Trump than standing by an ally...

hedge wrote: Thu Oct 10, 2019 8:18 am Does it bother you that it might possibly be b/c of some financial interest in Turkey that he is trying to protect? I'm not saying that's the reason, but hypothetically, if it was, would that bother you at all, or would you just make more excuses to Trump? The sad thing is, even if that's not the reason (and it very well may be), the fact that pretty much everyone believes that it could be the reason and that many people are asking the question at all speaks to what a piece of shit Trump is...
Just because liberals like you, suffering from terminal Trump Derangement Syndrome, can turn ANYTHING into a hypothetical conspiracy by Trump, with no evidence whatsoever to back it up, does not obligate sane people like me, who live in the real world, and therefore deal in facts, to accommodate your nutcase hypothetical conspiracies. At all.

Here’s what you need to do: get a CIA agent to say that he heard that Trump has secret business dealings with Turkey. Then leak it to the press. Then Schiff can impeach Trump for having a quid pro quo deal with the Turks, and Democrats will believe it.

That’s the usual way it works.

There's nothing secret about it, just like there's nothing secret about you and Trump being massive pieces of shit...

And anyway, irregardless of his reasons (or rather, whim of the moment, which is how he makes all of his decisions), it was a total dick move that even his staunchest allies in the senate are slamming him for. But the fact that it's entirely possible he was doing it for some personal financial gain or to satisfy his vanity makes it even worse. Not that you give a shit about any of it though, you'll go to your grave (hopefully very, very soon) defending Trump...

The whistleblower could be a figment of the IG's imagination for all practical purposes. Dotard released the transcripts that prove his guilt. So what if the WB is a dem, or even Joe Biden himself? "Oh hey...we now consider the transcripts null and void, or unreleased, or something like that. We were TRICKED!" Good luck with that..

Oh, and the federal court just denied Trump's latest tax-hiding gambit. Fat Donnie may cling to his own copies but Mazar and the IRS are going to fork over theirs.
"OMG, this is terrible. This is the end of my presidency. I AM FUCKED!"

Film footage of Schiff’s pseudo-investigation as all those witnesses attempt to take down Trump;

After President Trump campaigned in the Pelican State on Friday night for Republicans, Louisiana held their “jungle” primary on Saturday for its statewide election. All state offices were on the ballot.

Republicans outperformed Democrats statewide and wound up winning 5 of the 7 statewide races. They also look to be heavy favorites in a 6th (Secretary of State). Additionally, Louisiana achieved a legislative supermajority in the Senate and a decent chance at one in the House. In typical fashion, Trump spiked the football in the end zone on Twitter following the results.

The prevailing wisdom was that incumbent Governor John Bel Edwards could possibly win with 50% in the primary avoiding a runoff against his two Republican challengers. However, from the polling guidance, it’s pretty clear that Trump’s involvement and late appearance had an impact. As a result, Edwards wound up with 46.6% of the vote and will now face Republican Baton Rouge businessman Eddie Rispone, who finished with 27.4%.

Great food, birthplace of jazz, amazing history, and full of Deplorables like the Robertsons. My kind of place.

Breaking: Pelosi won't hold vote on impeachment for now. Why not? She's got this monster right where she wants him! He's "already self-impeached"! In the statesmanlike words of Rep Tliab, "Impeach the MF'er!" Answer: She doesn't have the votes. This despite Schiff's Soviet-style show trial, held in secret, Republicans not allowed to ask questions, and the only information coming from it is selectively leaked by the prosecution, making "bombshell" and "explosive" statements that turn out to be nothing. Sorta like Russia Collusion, obstruction of justice, emoluments, campaign finance violations, money laundering, and all the other hoaxes.

No wonder Pelosi made this announcement during the Democrat debate, where she hopes it would be little noticed. But this is not going to go over well with her enraged lunatic base. Here is film footage of Nancy breaking the news privately to her donors and activists:

Wow, an honest democrat speaks...

Gabbard responded this afternoon, calling Clinton, “the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long.”

She dared Clinton to get in the race directly instead of “cowardly hid[ing]” behind proxies.
