Actually it's 3 Helms titles but one of those was also a National Championship year..hedge wrote:Just saw this on the UK athletics website:
"Only UCLA, with 11, has more than the Wildcats. UK is 8-4 in national title games with its most recent appearance coming in the 2014 national championship game. The Wildcats' most recent championship was 2012. Kentucky also claims two Helms national titles, in 1933 and 1954."
Kentucky claims them!!!
Nice April fools joke by Saint......must admit though that I almost choked on my Tostitos when I read that. Maybe that'll brighten his day out of knowing that.

it was on ESPN
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

I would imagine his family needs him to go, and if he is a first round lock, he is foolish not to go and get the guaranteed money. Ed Cota was a first round lock in 1998, and be came back only to be exposed. He never played in the league.Saint wrote:That was a given. Coby undecided now but i expect him to follow suit

Asking a Bammer fan to support Auburn would be like asking a Louisville fan to support Kentucky..............

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
watching the end of that Duke/Mighigan St game.
Zion didn't want the last shot, gave it up with 15 seconds left to take the lead to Barrett
what star does that?

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
I don't know for sure but I have gotten the distinct impression the Whites are comfortably middle class, even with Doc passing away in 2017. Bonita certainly doesn't come off as a mom who would push her son to do something for money. If anything, I would think she might be cautious about sending her baby boy into the NBA wilds. Obviously they don't have the kind of money that Coby would make as a top 10 pick but they are not hurting.DooKSucks wrote:I would imagine his family needs him to go, and if he is a first round lock, he is foolish not to go and get the guaranteed money. Barrett has taken all the big last second shots for Duke. He thinks he's the true star because he was the #1 recruit.eCat wrote:watching the end of that Duke/Mighigan St game.

Coach K didn't coach this team much at all. He just let them play

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
what is his mock draft position? Outside the top 20 and he'll probably stay - although this seems to be a weak draft.
Sounds like Cal has changed his tune slightly with the players. Now he's added "if you aren't ready to go, you'll be out of the league in 2 years". That has to be pointed specifically to Keldon Johnson and Tyler Herro.
The one kid that is screwed is Hagans. He started off great and trailed off finishing the tournament with teams leaving him wide open and giving up 7 turnovers. And the PG we have coming in next year will start over him because he can handle and shoot.
if he stays, he just relegated himself to 2 more years at UK. If he goes, he just relegated himself to 2 more years at least at whatever school he lands at (Georgia?)

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
The last I saw had him #5. That might be a bit high but he's a lottery pick with his size and shooting ability

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
They live in a single-wide off of Tommy’s Road, and while that does not mean your poor, that is usually indicative of a life that is far from solidly “middle class.”Saint wrote:I don't know for sure but I have gotten the distinct impression the Whites are comfortably middle class, even with Doc passing away in 2017.
