I think that was kind of a bullshit move by Roy to bench White near the end. I understand his logic but you pull White and the whole team loses confidence they can win

I don't know for sure - probably right after UNC cut it to 10 and then Auburn opened it back up to like 15.

I don't think he was resting him, I think he benched him in the hopes that the kid with the greek name would provide a spark?

It looks like Kentucky will be seeing a whole lot more of Virginia Tech head coach Buzz Williams going forward.

According to Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.com, Williams is expected to take the head coaching job at Texas A&M, with one source telling Zagoria that the deal is “done.”

“That’s done,” one source said before Duke edged out Virginia Tech, 75-73, to advance to the Elite Eight.

“He’s a Texas guy, he will make a gazillion dollars there and, of course, the state is loaded with players,” a second source said.

no offense to A&M, but that seems like a bit of a lateral move to me - especially leaving the ACC - good coach though, great hire
