probably once a week I stop and thing about how good things are right now for me personally and wonder how long will it last.

not in defeatist I'm running out of time sort of way - just how long can I just stay status quo - health wise, job wise, pecker erect wise. I really want another 10 years of just same-same everyday. I'll take more if I can get it.
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

So I'm walking with the MIF this morning and she says "St. Patrick's Day is Sunday and I haven't put up any decorations yet, I may just skip right to Easter," and I'm like "why not put up the St. Patrick's Day decorations?" and she's like "Because I think it might be a waste," and I'm like "a waste of what?" and she's like "well, they would only be up for 3 days," and I'm thinking "Wow, she really believes that if the decorations were out longer, they would somehow have an effect on the population of Wilson's appreciation and excitement for St. Patrick's Day," but I didn't say that, I changed gears and said "What is St. Patrick's Day anyway?" and she says "Irish." Not "some Irish holiday" or even "THE Irish," but just "Irish." She had distilled it down to one word. So I said "But what does St. Patrick represent?" and she said, it full sincerity and belief that this was really it, she said "He brings Irish fun." Now I don't know anything about St. Patrick, but I am pretty damn sure that his role in history was not that he brought Irish fun. But that's what he has become, at least to the MIF...

I do but sometimes I think it's more like, say, the love a grandfather feels for his 9 year old granddaughter. Or maybe his 6 year old granddaughter. She's a simple woman with simple needs. Sadly, one of those simple needs is the need for me not to talk to or about any other women ever...
