I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

And $5 billion for a Wall is a rounding error in a $4 trillion federal budget.

$250 million is the entire market value of the Washington Post.
Sure, I could have stayed in the past. I could have even been king. But in my own way, I am king.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
I understand the need for a free press - I believe it is essential to preventing unchecked power in Washington, Stat and local politics, law enforcement and a host of other agencies, issues
that said,
this is an abuse of power and its not an isolated incident.
The press needs to live in fear of retribution for abuse of their platform.
This kid, the women lined up for Kavanaugh, Smollett are just a few of the examples where the press wanted to create a narrative so badly they stopped relying on the one principle that is supposed to protect them - journalistic integrity.
There are a number of factors that lead to this - diminished budgets for research and following stories, attempting to compete with blogs and social media (that have no rules or requirements for integrity) that in the internet world are peers to their domains, but the biggest driver here is their hatred of Trump and people that support him.

Irresponsible fake journalism (aka mainstream journalism) has been going on for a long time: Tawana Brawley, Duke LaCrosse players, Dan Rather and W’s national guard service, CBS and the “exploding” truck gas tanks, Katie Couric’s doctored interviews of gun rights advocates, UVA fraternity rape cases, etc etc etc...eCat wrote:This kid, the women lined up for Kavanaugh, Smollett are just a few of the examples where the press wanted to create a narrative so badly they stopped relying on the one principle that is supposed to protect them - journalistic integrity.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
Fox News isn't immune from it.
In a sense you can trace it back to Limbaugh in the Daddy Bush era, once news became entertainment and focused on a specific audience, the goal became to say whatever is necessary to retain them.
Real journalist decided they had an obligation to be influence Americans as opposed to reporting news.
Hell, people on social media take pride in it - they label themselves influencers.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
Limbaugh does NOT pretend to be a journalist. MSM journalists do what Limbaugh does, except on behalf of the Left, but they pretend to be real journalists.
... Bush Sr. secretly flying in an SR-71 to Iran to present the Ayatollahs with a cake... Mitt Romney hadn’t paid taxes in years... the Telegraph stories on Melania Trump... ABC’s false “breaking news” about Flynn that briefly crashed the stock market...

I didn't know she did this

Re: Florida State Seminoles
That IS crazy. The only thing even crazier is the appearance of Al Sharpton, righteously indignant about Smallett.

For those who aren’t old enough to remember it, Rev. Al was the godfather of the Tawana Brawley case (which was the first fake racism/victimhood case, and remains the gold standard by which all other fake racism/victimhood cases are judged.

That he would open his mouth today is the stuff you just can’t make up.
