VT adds DC.

UNC adds the tenth most populous state in the union.

So, both would make sense in terms of television markets/potential viewers.

Well, its not as catchy as SOME conferences come up with, but we decided to go with simple elegance. It's kind of like a beautiful woman in a skirt and blouse...Never goes out of style.

Getting A&M makes sense to me because it puts you in the Texas market including 3 of the 10 largest cities in the U.S. But Clemson? Why would South Carolina want them in the SEC? The same with Florida State. What makes more sense is adding Va Tech and NC State from the ACC, states where the SEC has no one.

I'd love to see NC State in the SEC. Good basketball team most years and an average football team, but a good addition, nonetheless.
