Yet the libertarian think tank Niskanen Center in Washington, DC, argues the moderate middle is the future. Niskanen president Jerry Taylor wrote in an Oct. 29 essay that he is dropping the libertarian banner the center has shared with the likes of the more conservative Cato Institute. In a 3,595-word farewell to the libertarian world, he says libertarianism, and ideology itself, is a dead end. “I have abandoned that libertarian project…because I have come to abandon ideology,” writes Taylor, who invites readers to flee the “clean and well-lit prison of one idea.”

The future of American politics, he argues, is principled compromise, even if the present couldn’t seem further away. ”I think we’re living in a world in which moderation has virtually disappeared,” he says in an interview with Quartz. “And how’s that working out? I’m skating to where the puck is going to be.”

Absolutely. Today if possible. Ivanka as Attorney General, Junior as FBI Director, and Jared as DNI. That would get to the bottom of all the criminal activities that have been going on all of those departments for the past three years. And as of today, he has a Senate that would confirm them.

Bring on the impeachment hearings. Put the beautiful faces of Nancy Pelosi, Jerry Nadler and Maxie Waters on tv 24/7/365. Maybe put lady part hats on all of them. All the way to 2020 if possible. The more the better.

The House impeachment measure will pass along party lines. Good. Then it will go to the Senate, where it will require a 2/3 majority to remove Trump. heh.

Some aspects of the coming Mother of All Witch Hunts might go all the way to the Supreme Court, and will be voted on by Justice Kavanaugh and Justice Thomas, who are both just WILD about Democrat witch hunts. heh heh.
