I don't think so, illegal immigration is what got him elected. Just a few days before the election this "leaks" out and republican voters know that the only way it happens is if they retain control of the house and senate, so he reignites the base to go vote with the promise of dissolving anchor babies being misinterpreted by the 14th amendment

certainly after mid terms, if the dems control the house, that becomes virtually impossible to even bring to the floor. (honestly it won't happen with a republican controlled house and senate either but still - motivate voters....)

I could see this blowing up to be a huge discussion and then Trump getting pressed on it and instead of having to justify it which the press will want so they can crucify him for his lack of humanity, he'll use the opportunity to tell voters if they want it to happen they need to get to the polls. The press can't help themselves, they'll go after this like a wolf to a lamb - and Trump will use it to motivate the base.

If he was going to wait for anything - it might have been for his chance to put another conservative on the SCOTUS - maybe he goes over and coughs on Ginsberg a couple of times

Agreed. Trump could also say to his base, "If you ever want to see the Wall built, go to the polls." That would be an especially strong message if the caravan shows up just in time for the election.

I always thought we did for agricultural reasons but the driver behind it is actually home heating costs? or at least energy consumption

but I think now its largely irrelevant, especially thanks to global warming.

We've had maybe 1 frost before Halloween in the last decade. As a kid we'd have them mid October every year - at my geographic location is further north by about 80 miles now

CNN's Don Lemon doubled down Wednesday on his comment earlier this week that the "biggest terror threat in this country are white men."

Lemon said Wednesday that the "evidence is overwhelming" that the statement is true.

The CNN anchor's comments have been condemned on the right, a fact Lemon noted during his Wednesday show.

“Earlier this week, I made some comments about that in a conversation with Chris [Cuomo],” Lemon said. “I said that the biggest terror threat in this country comes from radicals on the far right, primarily white men. That angered some people. But let’s put emotion aside and look at the cold hard facts. The evidence is overwhelming."

Lemon then referred to a Government Accountability Office report that says since the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, right-wing extremists have killed 106 people in 62 different attacks in U.S., while Islamist extremists have killed 119 people in 23 different attacks.

Lemon cited another story that showed "that for every eight deadly attacks by right-wing extremists," there was one by left-wing extremists.

“So people who were angered about what I said are missing the entire point,” Lemon said. “We don’t need to worry about people who are thousands of miles away. The biggest threats are homegrown. The facts prove that.”
The defense comes after Lemon on Tuesday said that "white men, most of them radicalized to the right" were the biggest terror threat after urging people "to stop demonizing people."

"We have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them. There is no travel ban on them. There is no ban — you know, they had the Muslim ban. There is no white-guy ban. So what do we do about that?”

A CNN spokeswoman told The Associated Press that neither Lemon nor the network would speak more about the issue ahead of Lemon's remarks on Wednesday.

I'm all for it Don, While we're at it, lets deport all young black males between the ages of 17 - 33 since you know, we're acknowledging facts , not worrying about people thousands of miles away and not demonizing people. I mean why limit it to terror, Don? lets focus on the threats to our daily lives.

throw in the fact blacks only make up 13% of the population but account for 67% of the interracial homicides

I think if 2/3rds of Congress were getting the Mueller treatment ... we'd eventually be looking to replace 2/3rds of Congress.

As it is, Donnie is the only one getting the rectal exam, brought on by his fateful decision to fire Comey. Yeah, the Special Counsel official mandate was about election conspiracies but it was made clear from the beginning that any uncovered misdeeds are fair game. And even the most jaded Trumpers suspect Mueller's report already has some line items filled in. What billionaire real estate tycoon who can't get domestic financing hasn't bent a financial regulation or two, right?

So how bad will it be? Prof claims there has to be audio of Putin and Donnie laying out an entire scheme, but I'm not so sure. Anyway...we'll apparently know before too long. 2019 is shaping up to be one for the history books.

I never said there had to be an audio of Trump and Putin. It can also be a video, an authentic email or text - any empirical proof that Trump colluded with the Russian government to throw the election. You know, Rosemary Woods recordings, a blue cocktail dress, a Perlins Couie-Fusion GPS-Steele-Pee Pee Dossier-Russians connection, real proof like that. Logical Rube Goldberg machines don’t count.

Also, I distinctly recall you saying 2018 would be one for the history books. Mueller would run Trump out of DC for sure. How did that work out for ya? Watching the Left hyperventilating, peeing and soiling themselves the past two years suggests the past two years have not worked out as they hoped.
