Once again...big union/dem $$$ lose.

Democrats failed late Tuesday in their effort to gain control of the Wisconsin state senate as Republican incumbents won four of six recall elections.

The outcome was a big setback for Democrats, organized labor, and progressive groups who'd sought retribution against six GOP allies of Gov. Scott Walker, who earlier this year enacted a labor law overhaul that ended collective bargaining rights for many public sector workers.

U.S. President Barack Obama may be a Democrat, but he is certainly no Harry Truman.

Truman, the 33rd president of the United States, had a sign on his desk that read, "The buck stops here!"

Obama, president No. 44, has chosen instead to pass the buck, claiming his country's economic troubles were inherited, and the majority of the mess on his desk is not his fault.

As a result, he's become a full-fledged disaster, eclipsing even Jimmy Carter as the worst president in modern U.S. history.

Obama is drowning in his own purple prose, and is so in love with the sound of his voice that he cares not if his vacuous words do nothing to inspire confidence.

And he's becoming delusional.

"No matter what some agency may say, we have always been and always will be a triple-A country," he said in a televised address to the nation.

What an offal load of tripe.

It was obvious who the markets believed. They believed the assessment of "some agency" named Standard and Poors that downgraded the U.S. federal government's credit rating to AA+.

Even after Obama finished his buck passing, the markets continued to tumble. The Dow Jones and the TSX moved further downward, losing more than 4% and 5% of their wealth.

Both the S&P 500 Index, as well as Nasdaq, lost 6% of their value.

The slight rebound Tuesday was more a result of the world not being able to afford to watch the U.S. go down than it was a belief in Obama.

What Obama didn't do -- and what a Truman would have done -- was announce a specific scheme to fight his country's debt, something akin to the rejected Simpson-Bowles deficit plan of 2010 that at least provided a play-by-play.

Instead he passed the buck on immediacy, and kicked the problem down the road so it can be dealt with -- conveniently -- after the 2012 presidential election.

Until the anomaly of Barack Obama came along, there was likely no one in this world who could have gone from the proverbial mail room to the CEO's office without first working their way up the executive ladder.

Now he is showing us the reason why.

I've heard you say racist things before and delight at the number of blacks in "your" prison, so the Ingram's dad thing is hardly surprising.
Quote, thread, date and post number, please.

And good luck.

I wouldn't spend one second digging for your racist quotes, besides many of them were at Wxing and you've covered your tracks quite well here.

Everyone here knows you hate blacks (or "Negroes" as you like to call them). I won't be a party to giving you and your supremacist viewpoints a platform.

On another note, HUGE HUGE day tomorrow. It's the qualifying exam for the American Board of Surgery. 9 painful hours just to determine if you can sit for the real bad one, the oral boards, fun fun.

That's because I never did. That's also why he can't answer my challenge and post a single example of me saying anything racist.

Didn't Prof once brag back on worldcrossing about the time his daddy passed down his daddys Grand Wizard hat? Or was that someone else?

Prof comes sauntering in here still smelling from kerosene after burning crosses in his 'negro' neighbor yards and most of us here have received on of his infamous racist jokes in our e-mail boxes.

I'm just not going to take it.

Don't scurry like a cockroach now that the light is being brought to your racist ways, prof!

Look, all racists hate Obama. But not all people that hate Obama are racist. But Prof is definitely a racist Obama hater.
