Yeah, the China Trade War is scary to me. I always figured any flare up with the Europeans could be easily finessed. Europeans always prefer sternly worded communiques to meaningful action.

But the Chinese are definitely a dangerous wild card. We could wake up one day and learn the Chinese have announced the will no longer buy US Treasuries, which is like a heroin supplier announcing he will no longer sell to his most thoroughly addicted customer. Or they might announce that they will blockade Taiwan. China is an awesome economic superpower. They have plenty of ways to harm us. I would not mess with them.

Also, why am I less then confident that European leaders are lining up to do something that will help Trump, considering how much he has shat on them since his first day in office?
