I used to think toe never cited his sources because he's a dumbass who doesn't know how. Lately it's occurred to me that he's just not confident in his choices.

That abbreviated mishmash of Cro-Magnon thought wrapped in pseudo-intellectual 'talk' is the product of a guy named Nirmal Dass. Here's his bio at Thistledown Press: Nirmal Dass currently resides in Toronto, Ontario. He holds a PhD in critical theory and is the author of five books of verse in translation. These include: The Avowing of King Arthur: A Modern Verse Translation; Rebuilding Babel: The Translations of W. H. Auden; and Songs of the Kabir from the Adi Granth, as well as a book-length study of the philosophy and practice of translation.
He is known to root around in dead languages—the deader the better, in fact.

He must have gotten his PhD online because there's no mention of it anywhere. He's currently a professor in the Classics department at Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. These are the kind of remarks he gets from Rate-a-Professor: Awful - 1.0 out of 10 - You will learn virtually nothing useful from his rambling and often nonsensical presentations. Based on fact checking some of his material, it's clear that he knows less than he thinks he knows. Don't know if he's tenured, but if not, the university should get rid of this guy.

Anywho, the Daily Caller did indeed publish Mr. Dass's letter, and of course toe laps up anything that touts bigotry multi-syllabically.

It was recently pointed out that, if Hillary had won, she would be installing a second and third Ruth Bader Ginsbusrg on SCOTUS right now. There would only be three conservatives left - Roberts, Alito and Thomas. Can you imagine what a court like that would have done to the First and Second Amendments? Yikes.

Also, the Left is now terrified that Roe v. Wade will be overturned. Wasn't it just last week that they were horrified about children being separated from their mothers?

It is already abundantly clear that the FBI and the DOJ were actively trying to protect Hillary and take out Trump. Now, it looks like the mighty NSA was part of the same conspiracy. From the Right Wing Nutjob Associated Press:

NSA deletes phone records, citing ‘technical irregularities’

WASHINGTON (AP) — The National Security Agency said Thursday it is deleting call records after “irregularities” caused it to collect records it was not authorized to receive.

The agency released a statement saying it began deleting records in May after “analysts noted technical irregularities in some data received from telecommunications service providers.”

The records date back to 2015 and were obtained under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

The statement added that “the root cause of the problem has since been addressed” for future call record collecting.

In a written follow-up statement to The Associated Press, the NSA said it is “following a specific court-authorized process,” but technical irregularities resulted in the production of some call records that the NSA “was not authorized to receive.”

The NSA faced a legal battle surrounding its internet surveillance data collection program in 2017, when the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that a challenge brought by the American Civil Liberties Union could move forward.
