Strzok’s infamous “We’ll stop it” text was not included in the documents the FBI turned over to Congress. The text before it in the string was turned over, and the text after it was turned over, but not the smoking gun. Horowitz had to pry it from the white-knuckled grip of the FBI.
The FBI is STILL covering up.

Arguably the smartest conservative alive ....
....said...
The Obama administration's agenda of maximizing dependency involves political favoritism cloaked in the raiment of "economic planning" and "social justice" that somehow produce results superior to what markets produce when freedom allows merit to manifest itself, and incompetence to fail. The administration's central activity – the political allocation of wealth and opportunity – is not merely susceptible to corruption, it is corruption.

When a politician, on a subject implicating science — hard science, economic science, social science — says, ‘The debate is over,’ you may be sure of two things. It’s that the debate is raging and he’s losing it.

Re: Puterbac News Network and Political Discussion Thread
The Washington Post reports that the owner of the Red Hen, a small farm-to-table restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, refused to serve White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Friday night. Why? "This feels like the moment in our democracy when people have to make uncomfortable actions and decisions to uphold their morals," Red Hen owner Stephanie Wilkins told the Post. "We just felt there are moments in time when people need to live their convictions. This appeared to be one."
You can practically hear the neck-snapping double-takes from the American Right echoing across the internet. "Sarah Sanders can now drive in Saudi Arabia, but not dine freely in Virginia," conservative wit @Hale_Razor quipped on Twitter.
The treatment of Sanders at the Red Hen restaurant is the very incarnation of the double standard many conservative Americans feel they've lived under for years. Their social media feeds are full of liberals supporting the very same behavior for which they've been condemned as (literally) "bigots" and "Nazis."
Liberal activists who denounced the Colorado bakery rushed to the internet to celebrate the treatment of Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

oprama had his flaws, toe - maybe narcissism was one. And dubya was a malaprop machine who took us to war in Iraq unnecessarily. Clinton was a horndog, GW said 'read my lips', and Ronnie was talking to ghosts at the end.
Anywho. You're a big George Will fan - are you gonna do what he says and join the blue wave this fall? He makes a helluva case, doesn't he?

The blue wave is headed to ebb tide.....keep throwing f bombs, c bombs and repubs out of restaurants. Will, the msm, nor you understand Trump's base. 24/7 negative coverage can't dent his approval rating....it's the economy stupid.

Re: Puterbac News Network and Political Discussion Thread
The Left is having the worst flu season ever. Almost all of them have been infected by Trump Derangement Syndrome to such a degree that they can't see or think straight. It's a plague year -- make that two years -- and we're living it. Oh, how we're living it!
Self-destructive, nincompoop behavior is rampant with members of the so-called Resistance (what a desecration of the real Resistance that is!) now showing up at restaurants to harass members of the administration while they eat. Do these clowns have any idea how that plays in Middle America? Do these people think they are accomplishing anything but their own defeat?
And how about yet another Fonda hoping Trump's young son would be locked in a cage with pederasts? Does that aging Hollywood nitwit actually think he's influencing public opinion in his direction by saying that? Has he had a lobotomy?
The problem is that it's not just Hollywood lamebrains and jejune social justice idiots that have been infected, it's the entire liberal/progressive side of the country, starting with the literary/media elites who give them their marching orders.
The Owners of The Red Hen in Virginia Are the Real Bigots. Not the Christian Bakers
They are all having a nervous breakdown and it keeps getting worse, because... because.... because Trump.
But I have news for them. It's not at all about Trump. It's about them.
Trump is what the shrinks call the "presenting complaint." The real problem, as is often the case in psychotherapy, is something entirely different. And it is this: The left is dead. It's not only dead, it's decomposed with no there there or anywhere.
Only dopes or con artists believe in socialism anymore (hello, Venezuela!) and identity politics has been exposed as the racist shell game it is with blacks and Latinos actually doing better than they have in decades under the current pro-capitalist administration.
So the left has nothing to say, only most of them don't quite realize it yet. But this blockage, this reluctance and even inability to deal with what is actually happening shuts down the brain and emerges as anger, the hamster wheel of constant rage against Trump.
And that, of course, feeds on itself, as we have seen for the past year and a half, making matters worse, not just for the obvious reason -- the aforementioned alienation of the public -- but for what it does to their own minds.
Anger makes you stupid. When is the last time you heard a creative idea coming out of the left? (Herbert Marcuse? Okay, scratch that.) When is the last time they even debated the issues in a serious way rather than simply hurling invective or worse?
Infuriating them even more is that Trump is not even a conventional Republican or a conventional anything for that matter, making a mockery of people (like leftists) with rigid, reified (and highly conventional) ideologies that, in most cases, haven't altered one jot in decades.
Trump is the reverse. He's not a conservative either, but a Dengist, as in China's Chairman Deng Xiaoping (one of the most positive figures in the twentieth century for almost single-handedly overcoming Maoism), who abjured ideology and famously said "I don't care if a cat is black or white as long as it catches mice."
That's Trump to a T and the very opposite of his adversaries, who obsess about whether a cat is black or white and couldn't care less if it catches mice. Trump's pragmatism exposes their (no other word) bullshit. All they want to do is talk and do nothing. Thus, he leaves them naked, which generates yet more rage.
But again, it's their fault. As an ex-leftist myself, I am acutely aware how ideology can be used as an excuse for destructiveness. I attended meetings in the sixties and seventies where people endlessly discussed violent action, but almost never discussed what they really wanted to do if they took control. Sound familiar?

Re: Puterbac News Network and Political Discussion Thread
I've heard this "everybody else is talk, Donald is action" bs before. I think of Trump's crushing loses on casinos during a time when casinos were printing their own money. I think of Trump Steaks. Trump University, Trump Airlines, Trump Vodka etc. Unpaid contractors, broken contracts, lawsuits galore...yeah, he get's stuff done alright. Had some NBC exec not made the Trump name a brand who knows where he'd be right now (prison is a possibility).Trump is the reverse. Oddly, toe's Roger L Simon makes the case that it's the Resistance and Hollywood elite versus middle America, which doesn't explain why Donnie still only hits the low 40s in the polls. Odd especially since this guy was a Hollywood screenwriter 40 years or so ago. He's mid-70 now, shaking his fist and hurling insults like "dopes" or "lamebrains" (zounds!) and regretting his bouts with hippie-dom.
"The Donald is a Dengist"...LOL. Awesome. Can't wait for Trump Mouse Traps.

the ability of mueller to survive as described as impartial in an environment with comey/McCabe/strozak page all playing strong roles in the course is ridiculous
and lets add another sterling member of mullers team--a team he assembled --mr kevin clinesmith. one of the five who is being identified by the IG as facing bias allegations for His multiple texts including viva resistance after trump won. whats his role you ask-well he interviewed George papodoupolous the dupe who claimed he had dirt on Hillary according to the fbi which launched this whole thing--http://dailycaller.com/2018/06/25/cline ... adopoulos/
one other issue that's come up lately--comey evidently had a chance to get the information from assange of who hacked the DNC emails (Hillary) and refused to grant immunity. assange has publicly said it want the Russians. if comey had info that it wasn't the Russians whoi hacked the DNC would have save a whole lot of effort from multiple investigatory arms if they knew russa wasn't the cultprit hacking the DNC don't you think?
so why wouldn't comey want to know where assange got his Hillary's emails from?

Re: Puterbac News Network and Political Discussion Thread
The Supreme Court ruled Tuesday in favor of President Donald Trump in Trump v. Hawaii, the controversial case regarding Trump's September order to restrict travel to the U.S. for citizens of several majority Muslim countries.
In the 5-4 opinion penned by Chief Justice John Roberts, the court found that Trump's immigration restriction fell "squarely" within the president's authority. The court rejected claims that the ban was motivated by religious hostility.
"The [order] is expressly premised on legitimate purposes: preventing entry of nationals who cannot be adequately vetted and inducing other nations to improve their practices," Roberts wrote. "The text says nothing about religion."
