He should. He actually did something to deserve it.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

Why is it that Donnie is attracted to the despots but quarrels with the leaders that are democratically-elected?

Full bore liberalism takes a step back toward reality...

SEATTLE (Reuters) - The Seattle City Council on Tuesday repealed a newly enacted “head tax” on the city’s largest companies, including Amazon.com, in the face of seemingly insurmountable big-business opposition to a revenue measure meant to combat homelessness.

..The 7-2 vote in favor of repeal capped an acrimonious public hearing interrupted by chanting supporters of the tax, conceived in response to a local economic boom that has driven up real estate costs at the expense of the working class.

The council’s stunning reversal came as momentum was building for a referendum drive against the measure, just weeks after it was unanimously adopted by the council and signed into law by the mayor.

LOL. Polling must not have been great for that potential referendum. Basically they decided to repeal it now instead of all of them getting voted out on the referendum's coattails.

How many votes in a referendum does a "Fortune 500" company get?

You have piqued my curiosity though...do you actually believe that the best thing to do for the poor and homeless is to put a direct tax on jobs?

Best thing? No, since the top affected 3% corporations can characterize the whole thing as a job-killer. Even though 257.00 represents what...2.5 percent of the average employees salary package.

The same thing happened in SF - big businesses converged on older and less affluent sections, drove real estate sky high and displaced tens of thousands of people. Sucks to be scraping by in a 60 yr old apartment building that gets torn down to make way for XYZ Corp Offices. Now you're on the street - a victim of a "real life consequence'. Of course the new jobs are welcome. Can there be a balance? Fuck no - the working poor can't rub two sticks together, much less counter million dollar campaigns to squash taxing the top 3 percenters.

Anyway, you LOL'd the results of the referendum, so it's pretty obvious where you stand.

Nothing. That was a joke since Obama ultimately did little to reel in the war machine. The Trump thing is 100% bluster too though, as NK has pledged to denuclearize more times than we can count over the last few decades. Basically Trump gave up the war games for a yuge propaganda opportunity.

There is no referendum now that its repealed. I LOL'd because what they passed must have been so overwhelmingly unpopular that the same people that made the law repealed it almost immediately rather than allowing it to go to the polls in a referendum. Thats not exactly standard politics. My meaning in my next point to you was that Fortune 500's don't vote, people vote. They obviously passed something that the people that elected them don't want and now they are running away from it as fast as they can before it gets them voted out of office, that's funny to me. I bet there was wailing and gnashing and teeth about it too, most likely about how the voters just don't understand what Seattle really needs to do as well as city council or whoever does...
