no it doesn't because there is already an issue with the type of people that Mueller has put on his team and the widening scope of the investigation in an effort to find something wrong.

Republicans are united wrt giving their benefactors and themselves a huge tax cut, and Trump is certainly on board with that. It's no secret that once that's accomplished, GOPers will turn on Trump en masse rather than the dribs and drabs we see now. Pence can hold the fort and make the SCOTUS nominations from there on out.
