I have not seen the play so I have no idea of the quality. But, there is a long standing tradition of taking classics and adapting them to the day and age. Given that Trump is a despot who deserves to be murdered, this seems like a sensible interpretation of the source material.

You should read your own articles. That wasn't regular sea ice they were battling, rather it was shelf ice that broke apart due to AGW. You can still read about this very troubling phenomenom at noaa.gov...at least for the time being.
