Re: Florida State Seminoles
North Korea has been creating Walter Whites since the 1970's
-----------------------
The packages of sharp, ice-like crystals measured 98 percent and 96 percent for purity, respectively. According to an indictment against the suppliers, who were arrested in 2013, the drug was so pure that "people in New York, they went crazy… the places that we put it in the States, New York… Boston, all these places, I mean, they went crazy."
According to a new report by Dr. Sheena Chestnut Greitens, an assistant professor of political science at the University of Missouri, the North Korean government has used drug manufacturing and a host of other nefarious activities to raise funds since the 1970s. .......................................
Unsurprisingly, domestic use of meth has skyrocketed. Suited elites in Pyongyang restaurants offer each other a "nose" after dinner, the middle classes take it as a cold cure or remedy for back pain, and the poor take it to ease the emptiness in their stomachs. The drug is apparently so common that the attitude of North Koreans has become blasé. "When meeting people we not infrequently swapped drugs to see whose ice was more potent," said one defector in Dr. Greitens's report. "We just did it naturally as if we were exchanging cigarettes." Another defector said, "If people in the countryside take ice, their back pain is cured... And if you give it to people who have had a stroke, they recover."

if I ever have a stroke, meth is going to be the first thing I ask for
sounds like a viable plan - give a weak heart something that will make it work overtime for 3 days straight.

" had a chance to listen to Marie Le Pen's campaign manager on the news this morning."
muslim immigration/immigrants account for < 10% of the population but expected to rise every decade by at least 1%
they now have enough power to have elected the mayor of London a muslim and locally sharian law is enforced by small gangs in suburban London
LePen will win because people fear muslim extremism over there

It'll be funny in a few years when the Muslims succeed in banning beer and sausage in Germany, wine is forbidden in France, women are forced to wear burkhas while sunbathing on the French Riviera, gambling is forbidden in Monaco, drugs and prostitution cease in Amsterdam, and St Peter's basilica is converted into a mosque.

Stop it. Beer and wursts aren't going anywhere in Germany, ever. You can bet your lederhosen on that one.
First it was the anabaptists, then it was the communists, and now it's the muslims. Quit trying to scare the kids ffs.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
another analysis of Hillary's failed campaign - I believe an accurate quote from Biden
------------------
While the political opposition generally views Trump or either party as about equally out of touch - with about 80 to 90 percent saying so - the Democratic Party is viewed as far more out of touch by Democrats than Trump or the GOP are by Republicans.
And finally, as CNN reports, former Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday indirectly knocked Hillary Clinton's failed 2016 campaign at a Thursday event, suggesting that the former secretary of state failed to talk to middle-class voters.
"What happened was that this was the first campaign that I can recall where my party did not talk about what it always stood for -- and that was how to maintain a burgeoning middle class," Biden said during an appearance at the University of Pennsylvania.
"You didn't hear a single solitary sentence in the last campaign about that guy working on the assembly line making $60,000 bucks a year and a wife making $32,000 as a hostess in restaurant."
"And they are making $90,000 and they have two kids and they can't make it and they are scared, they are frightened."
Despite calling half the nation 'deplorable' and beyond help, Clinton did attempt to speak to working class voters on the campaign trail, including through multiple bus trips through Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. But the overarching message of her campaign, especially at the end, (and The Democrats since), was more often anti-Donald Trump than policy messaging toward these voters.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
90 k with 2 kids and paying obamacare for coverage doesn't leave much
you can count on on 25 K in taxes imncluding feds/social security/state/sales if not more and 10-15K in obamacare/insurance costs before deductions leaves you 45 k
a decent house in a decent neighborhood is minimum 10-15K a year plus utilities another
food 5-10 K dental 6-10k house furniture/tv/cars/car insurance --likely at least 10K in payments a year if not more
so that's at least 75K just to live and that's lowballing it. you haven't saved anything you haven't accounted for any potential disasterous home repairs car repairs injuires or planned any retirement
Id be scared too

Give me a break. I'm crying a river for anyone who makes $90K a year and has health insurance.
Once I get cancer and don't have any money for pain meds, I'll find a way to get a machine gun and kill as many as I can.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
I see Macron winning because having a run-off allows the establishment to coalesce against Le Pen and the view of Donald Trump's Presidency, to this point, by the French has hurt the cause of the National Front. Le Pen does have going for her the fact that Macron appears to be a little too happy in a celebrity setting...but Brexit, Holland and Trump have caused doubt in some Frenchies that were initially (slightly) sympathetic to the NF message.
On the $90K convo...that is totally a Biden quote. I remember when he said it. That was a couple months ago, iirc (at least that was the first time he said it). The question isn't about who was scared and didn't like the way Hillary reached out to them...the question is whether these same people will be any better in 2018, 2020 or 2025? Where things are now, I say no. It is highly probable, based on what I'm seeing, they will be worse. Maybe this fixation on 2016 Hillary will be the shiny keys that keep people's attention away from the struggle. The heroin and meth will stay cheap, though. There is that.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
Joe totally nailed it.
But rather than listening to him, the Dem's seem to continue their march in the opposite direction. Instead of trying to win Rust Belt blue collars back, the Dem's are turning up the hostility against them. The Dem's want to go even further left, and follow people who want to turn us into a Socialist utopia. Like Venezuela.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
you should be angry that you aren't making $90K a year, not angry at the guy who is and says it isn't enough
too many of those people that aren't making it look to the government to make up the difference in their lives in the form of income security or support.
That's who the democrats have been focusing on.

Macron will win because like Spain, Italy, Greece, and every other Catholic nation, they are a country full of deadbeats who can't survive without the EU.
