Well, I brought some baling wire, sheet metal and a staple gun. Maybe that'll keep the infidels away.

It looks like people are expecting us to pull a Texas 2010 and go from a BCS title game appearance to a losing season...I don't think it's going to be that bad, but there's not a road game on our schedule that you can look at as any better than a toss-up right now and it's not like Florida, MSU and Alabama are going to all suck. We'll find out a lot more about Chizik's staff and how they recruited in '09 and '10 this season. I have high hopes, but moderate expectations.

I figure we'll be about 7-5. But after two huge recruiting classes in a row, and working on a third, we will be in excellent shape starting next year.

That was about my guess record-wise as well. We'll have some good young players out there, but the key word is young. They hit the ground running in September, too. MSU is not going to be a soft touch and @ Clemson won't be easy, either, although CU does have a history of underachieving.

I'm just ready to get it started, no matter how it turns out.

Another big BG/TC just committed to Auburn: Tyler Nero, a four star #15 DT.

This is a big addition to this class. You can never get enough great defensive lineman. We don't have them stacked up like cordwood at that position like Alabama does. But he will join similarly talented DT's Gabe Wright from last year's class and Jeff Whitaker from the class before that. Our D-line is definitely bulking up.

The next big recruiting target is Geno Smith, who will reportedly commit within the next three weeks.

U*NC is the cleanest most honest athletic program on the planet. I am jealous of their deserved success, and I'm a mewling cunt.

Good to see you as well, Hack...

The party school rankings make one thing clear: UGA doesn't underachieve at everything.

Boozing it up at the state fairgrounds and Five Points isn't quite top 10 material...

In all seriousness, I hope he's gotten himself under control for real this time.

Yeah. You act like boozing it up at the state fairgrounds and Five Points is a bad thing...

Not a bad thing, but you've got to do more than just pub crawl in Columbia, SC to be an elite party school...Garcia couldn't do it all himself. UGA had an extensive supporting cast and more commitment to the cause.

The FSU quarterback that broke into an apartment and started cooking hot dogs, now that's a start.

Well, I know that Athens is a great party town, but give SC it's due. It has plenty of cheap booze and even more dumb, attractive women in their late teens and early twenties.

Sanford Stadium is, grudgingly, one of the top venues in all of college football. That said, Swamp Thing brought the funk the last time they played there in 1995 (52-17). Worst loss for UGA at home in like 30-plus years.
From the town of Possum's Paw, Alabama, standing 6'2" and weighing 150 lbs, the one, the only, the legend... Bootney Farnsworth.
