Trumps harangues the media and the intelligence community, constantly discrediting their accuracy and veracity. "Nazi Germany in the 30s." His people are instructed to belittle the MSM at every turn. Top intel officials are backbenched on the NSC; briefings are curbed.

But Obama (or any other president) didn't use his power as Trump has and he's been in office for a little more than a week.

.At what point will people supporting him decide that he's overstepping his bounds? Just trying to figure out where the limit is for folks who like what he's doing. Obviously those who don't like him/didn't vote for him think that's already happened but, truthfully, he hasn't enacted any great changes. That doesn't mean he won't or isn't planning on it.

So I ask, what would Trump have to do to make you say, "Now hold on just a minute."?

Now admittedly the green card thing came out of left field - but Trump isn't a nuance kinda guy when he has the leverage.

You also have to admit, its kinda funny that people lose their shit, take the day off and go protest every time Trump does something he said he was going to do and its only day 10 or whatever.

I might invest in poster boards and sharpies if this keeps up.

They still have to lose their shit over the Supreme court pick, infrastructure spending, military buildup, regulation repeals, Jeff Sessions, conflict of interest in business, building the wall, NAFTA, and Nato/EU/UN pullout.

At this rate, these protestors won't go back to work for another 2 months.

Different people get pissed about different things. I'm not really the protesting kind of guy. If I get to the point where I'm going out in the street, I'll have a weapon, not a sign, in my hands.

You're right that Trump is doing what he said he'd do but doing is different from saying, so you shouldn't expect people to react any differently than they said they'd react when he was just saying it.

if you think global warming is going to annihilate us I wouldn't worry to much--I can think of about 5-10 other causes of our annihilation much more likely

I'm totally against vouchers which I think she is a big proponent of.

to me vouchers may help a handful of dedicated students but completely screw over the remainder as well as hurting the community as a whole.

Given the business he's in, odds are that he's got billions in debt to holders all over the world. He probably owes more to more people than any president in history. And, that's not even counting what the Russians have on him which it seems is driving some of his irrational behavior towards the intelligence community. The White House said on Monday that President Trump would leave in place a 2014 Obama administration order that created new workplace protections for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people.

In a statement issued in response to growing questions about whether Mr. Trump would reverse the Obama order, the White House said the president was proud to embrace gay rights.

"President Trump continues to be respectful and supportive of L.G.B.T.Q. rights, just as he was throughout the election," the statement said. "The president is proud to have been the first ever G.O.P. nominee to mention the L.G.B.T.Q. community in his nomination acceptance speech, pledging then to protect the community from violence and oppression."

The decision to keep the order, the statement added, was Mr. Trump's. It uses stronger language than any Republican president has before in favor of equal legal protections for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people, though that is not likely to quiet Mr. Trump's critics on the left.
