You may have to wait until next Xmas to get that gift from the NCAA. This shit is going to drag out for at least another year or longer if they really stick it to UNC and then it goes to court, which it will. Meanwhile, UNC recruiting will continue to fade so there's your bonus present. Carolina is a potential FF team this year but after that, for the foreseeable future, UNC will be on par with Wake Forest and Va. Tech and I don't expect Roy to stick around for that.

we planned poorly this year

Had a big Xmas planned, but didn't take into account my daughter taking AP tests at school up until the Wednesday before Xmas (jackass school administrators plan it this way so parents like me won't pull their kids from school and they lose money on absent students is why I've been told).

At any rate, my son couldn't get off work and we couldn't leave early because of my daughter so we spent 2 full days with the in-laws which normally I'd say is a blessing but we had a day in New Orleans planned, a night out at a casino in Biloxi and a couple of big fambly dinners, plus hanging out with some friends we only see once every 2 years - and all of that except 1 family dinner fell thru, so I was kinda bummed.

Xmas day it was just the 4 of us here which was nice but 15 minutes after opening presents the kids had their faces in their phones. Still, I was determined to show the kids the effort we went thru to be together for Christmas day as a kind of fore shadowing for when they move out on their own.
