Damn, I was just reading up on this Hamilton dude, he's the son of Errol Morris, the famous documentary filmmaker...

When I first saw it, I thought it was going to be talking about drugs in Alexander Hamilton's day (IIIEEE!! Iron bird! IRON BIRD!!), but no, it's hosted by this pharmacy geek named Hamilton (he's actually pretty cool) who goes around and does stories on various drugs and often partakes himself and describes what's happening to him (I've noticed that he only partakes if he's in a foreign country). Saw an episode last night about PCP, a.k.a. angel dust. No drug that I can think of has a worse rap that PCP, but he went to this old dude's house who snorted a few lines of it and then they went outside and the old dude was coherent and talking the whole time, describing how he felt, etc. He seemed to be enjoying himself. On the darker side of the story, he later interviewed this rapper named God's Messenger (or something like that) who had worked with Wu Tang Clan, anyway, this dude took some PCP and got to thinking about the three women who he had children by who all they wanted was his money and financial support for the kids and so under the influence of PCP he figured that the source of all his problems was his cock, so he cut it off. That was pretty sobering...
well , in a sense that was the source of his problems

He actually was pretty sanguine about the whole thing when talking to Hamilton about it...

RIP Dr. Bombay

Your existence made for many joyous after school afternoons watching Bewitched as a child...and many joyous blunt sessions in college with your name marketed on stemless, seedless bags of weed. You will be missed but always appreciated.

so my wife has binge watched star wars all day.

It was fun when I was younger, now that I'm old and crotchety, I can't stand it.

I could watch the first 3 pretty much anytime. I can't even remember if I saw all 3 of the middle ones. I remember the Muppets were in one of those and maybe Samuel L. Jackson. The last one that came out was just a nostalgia piece and I haven't seen the new one.

Sad news about Carrie Fisher though. All that partying in her youth is probably what did her in. I doubt I'll see 60 for the same reason.

I'm sure the last 10 years or so of your slothful, gluttonous existence has been far worse for you than anything you did in the crack-filled decade previous to that...

that nonsense started with those Ewoks - fucking dancing teddy bears.

they need a scene in every one of those movies where Yoda is rubbing his temples in exasperation and says "Again with the death star"

And a scene where the Ewoks are blown away in graphic fashion. I don't think younger kids even liked them...

I haven't seen it yet. I will this weekend, hopefully. From what I understand, the last 5 minutes are what was re-shot this Summer.

A few in my family did not like the ending, but it makes sense. It all can't be happy.

The next one is between Rogue and the original? What's left to tell? They showed Lea at the end of Rogue being a young princess which is who she is at the beginning of the original.
