The Bama runner fumbles on the two yard line. An Arkansas player recovers the ball on the one yard line. The refs call it a Bama TD.

As what will be a shock to exactly no one, prof got this wrong.

It was not called a TD. It was called down at the one on 2nd down. Bama quickly ran another play on 3rd down which was a TD. They wiped the 3rd down TD play off the board (against the rules), reviewed the previous 2nd down play after the fact, and awarded Arkansas the ball at the 1.

So, yeah, life in the SEC.

Welcome to the SEC.
Should have signaled it before the fumble... The REC will not take this lightly.

Never mind whether he'd scored yet, the ref was late.

I never complain about the refs. It is my belief that it is extremely rare when a crew has evil ulterior motives and that the mistakes they make due to incompetence will balance out over time.

Wrong. Here's the video of the series:

Wrong. The third down play is at 8:00...

Notice that the Bama runner fumbled the ball at the 2. Notice the Arkansas player recovered at the 1. Notice that the SEC ref (you know, the guy in the black and white shirt at the top of the screen) DID hold both arms straight up) and therefore DID call an obvious non-touchdown a touchdown, which you say did not happen.

The review had nothing to do with second down. It was about a ridiculous TD call on third down, where the replay booth overruled a poor ref who only wanted to see his wife and children again.

Life in the SEC indeed.

Jesus. You are too stupid to even know what you are looking at.

Go to 7:15. The fumble happened on the second down play. You can see the Arkansas player #20 celebrate and run off with the ball. No touchdown was signaled. Referree calls the Bama player down, the Arkansas defensive players run back to the field. #20 runs back in and tosses the fumbled ball he took to the sideline back to the ref.

Third down we DID break the plane on an "over-the-top" play. TD was correctly signaled. Ball kicked toward the sideline after the play.

They now wave off the 3rd down play, review the second down play and show the second down play twice in slo-mo (if you doubt which down they are showing a slo-mo replay of, note where the Bama QB was on 2nd down vs 3rd down). They determine that the second down play was a fumble and award Arkansas the ball.

This motherfucker looks up VIDEO and can't even get it right. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. He won't own up to his mistake, either.

Here is the play-by-play. They do not denote waived off plays.

Go to 1-minute.

They show the second down fumble play, then the TD play that was overturned "by a timeout" and a review.

The thing is, I'm sure that if he looks at this enough, prof will know that he is wrong (I mean, his stupidity can't be THAT deep), but he will never admit it. He has underdeveloped ethics.

I don't see how you could watch that video of the two plays in question and arrive at anything except how AA originally described it. I can't quit figure out how Prof has somehow melded the two plays into one...

After the second down play, the ref at the top of the screen does hold up his right arm (as he did after the first down play of that series as well). Maybe Prof interpreted that as a touchdown signal...

You know, the thing is, I was gonna just let this drop. He mis-remembered a play in a game he wasn't emotionally involved in. No big deal. An "Oh, that's right" woulda been nice, but no big deal either way.

Then this stupid motherfucker gets goddamned video, has no idea what he's looking at because he found a youtube without sound, and tries to play "gotcha" but is TOO STUPID to know what he's looking at and is too morally bankrupt to admit it even if he did.
