I hope DS's Carolina squad goes easy on us this weekend.
Sure, I could have stayed in the past. I could have even been king. But in my own way, I am king.

That game is already over. Anything less than a 30 point victory should put Sumlin's ass on the hot seat.
I proudly took AFAM 040 at Carolina.

I've been an LSU football fan for quite a few years and always considered Tiger Stadium to be the best atmosphere in college footbal....especially for a night game,... but the atmosphere at Rocky Top after the Vols destroyed the Gaytors was no doubt equal to anything at LSU. Place was electric and going nuts. No better school fight song than Rocky Top. My hat's off to the Vol Nation. That's what college football should be like all the time.

Kentucky has played 21 road games against Alabama. The Wildcats were completely shut out in 10 of those 21 meetings. In fact, in 21 road games against Alabama altogether the Kentucky football program has totaled just 96 points (4.57 points per game).

The Wildcats have never scored more than 17 points in a road game against the Tide. Their highest scoring outputs in those games: 17 (2003), 14 (2009) and 13 (1929).

I'm sure Crotch had a great time tailgating in the mule and buggy lot for that 1929 game...

If UK scores more than 11 ecat has to post a pic of his wife. Naked. Doesn't matter the decade. No baby pics though.

Or at least the home slasher movie she was in during college when she ran out of the house half naked.

did anyone see this?

Green Bay Packers kick returner and WR Ty Montgomery flew under the radar with the most heads up play out of any NFL snap Sunday.

On a late 1st quarter kickoff during the Lions-Packers game yesterday, Montgomery received a lions kick that ended up near the 3-yard line. Instead of waiting for it to roll into the end zone for a touchback or have it be downed by the kicking team, Montgomery purposely stepped out of bounds before diving on top of the ball while his feet remained out of bounds.

Instead of the Packers beginning their drive at the 3-yard line or even the 25 (have there been a touchback), Green Bay was able to advance the ball to the 40-yard line due to a penalty. Not just any penalty though, it’s one that warrants one of the heftiest yardage punishments of any.

That penalty states that via the NFL rulebook, if the ball comes into contact with a player that is out of bounds, the ball is hear-by considered out of bounds. If you think of it like an electric current, Montgomery was the connect that was able to, through him, make the ball technically out of bounds.

Very cool that the refs caught the nuance.

I think I was listening to the packers game against Detroit and they thought a flag against Detroit for pass interference--66 yard penalty. quite the heave I would say. haven't seen or heard a longer penalty

Not quite the same, but two years ago Bama took a kickoff 108 yards to the house. They called a block in the back at the 3 (away from the ball carrier). We fumbled the next play and Ole Miss scored. Took 7 points off and put 7 on in 9 seconds.
