Jesus Christ its fucking Donald Trump the lunatic with no shot at winning and yet I guess the lame cliche talking points never change for these elections.

It's the cover-up; not the crime. All the other draft dodgers owned up to their dodge, even Reagan.

Trump deserves the scorn for the bone spurs. Seems like EVERYBODY in that generation dodged Vietnam. Except John McCain, John Kerry and Jane Fonda. The most enraging draft dodgers were the ones that turned into chicken hawks, I.e., they assiduously avoided fighting a war themselves, but they never met a war they couldn't happily send other peoples' kids off to fight (Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld).

Al Gore drafted or joined because he was going to get drafted. He was able to get into the journalism part but had to go through basic and was near the fighting (like Barry Pepper in We Were Soldiers)

Remember that Nobel Peace Prize that President Obama got in 2009? Well, maybe it wasn't such a good idea after all, a former top Nobel official said.

In a just-released book, Geir Lundestad, director of the Nobel Institute for 25 years until stepping down last year, said the prize committee had expected the honor to deliver a boost to Obama, something he believes did not happen.
