My guess...

1. No mayors are even thinking about driving around looking for work
2. Any DEM mayor doing that will get excoriated by their GOP opponents/constituents for potentially hiring illegals or taking those good paying jobs from teens or others
3. Some critic is going to force them to piss in a cup and it all comes tumbling down

I'm not quite getting the math on this:

If drugs are ever legalized, shooting deaths across the board will go down by at least half. I saw where one of those cops was shot in a what they referred to as a trailer park shoot out. The cops were there to serve a warrant on a guy who had failed to show up in court for illegally possessing a syringe. Seriously? It's bad enough to waste time and money charging somebody with that type of shit, much less actually sending cops to pick him up when he doesn't show up in court for it, and now a cop is dead b/c of it (and the guy shot himself, but obviously since he lived in a trailer park and had a syringe, nobody is considering that much of a loss)...
