They have never had an official position, and there is a mix of positions amongst the seminary faculty. Baptists have had the vast amount of influence in recent history so pre-Trib make up the majority, but Reformed Theology and Orthodox Presbyterianism is becoming more of an influence and so are those who do not espouse that dispensation position.Professor Tiger wrote:LMAO! My alma mater, Dallas Theological Seminary, also might have to update their eschatological charts if the EU collapses. Chick publications too. There might be a couple of new dispensations on the horizon. Pre-, Post-, or Mid- Brexit?
What is the official dispensational algorithm of BJU?

One of the level headed conservatives in here. I do remember him referencing an illness back when he occasionally posted here.

Damn - another from the old community gone to sea. I recall how he'd go silent for a while but all it took was a snarky comment about submarines to bring him back out.

‘God called my bluff’: A Christian blogger faces fury over a post about her white daughter’s marriage to a black man
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/mor ... black-man/
When Gaye Clark prayed to God to send her daughter Anna a “godly, kind” husband, she got exactly what she asked for.
Glenn was a devout Christian who volunteered at church, mentoring kids in an after-school program. By day, he worked as an applications developer for Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and he was well on his way to becoming “a great dad and a good provider,” Clark said.
Glenn was a gentleman, too. Clark noticed that he’d hold doors open for Anna, even at the grocery store. Her daughter seemed happy, she said.
But there was one thing the 53-year-old mother was hung up on: Glenn was a black man with dreadlocks.
Clark, a white freelance writer and cardiac care nurse from Georgia, confessed in a blog post Tuesday on the website the Gospel Coalition, or TGC, that she initially struggled with the idea of her daughter marrying an African American man. In it, she explained how she ultimately came to embrace her daughter’s decision, and offered some advice for parents like her to consider if they, too, are hesitant about a child’s interracial marriage.
The post, titled “When God Sends Your White Daughter a Black Husband,” has since been taken down from the website, but not before receiving a hail of criticism from readers online, many of whom called it tone-deaf, un-Christian and downright racist.

During a press conference later, O'Mara was asked if he had any advice for Zimmerman, and he answered, "Pay me."

I doubt there would've been any uproar at all if that woman's daughter had been gay and she had blogged about that...

White Christian America is dying
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/mon ... -is-dying/
In the 19th and early 20th century, many Catholics were seen as neither “white” nor “Christian.” For example, Irish immigrants were often classified by U.S. immigration officials not as “Caucasian” but as “Celts.” And even the more liberal mainline Protestants saw Communists and Catholics as the twin threats to American democracy up through the middle of the 20th century.
