caught a decent movie a couple of days ago. Woody Harrelson plays a mentally handicapped guy who lost his mother to drug overdose at a young age, and in a casual conversation with his grandfather about how she died, his grandfather ends up talking about dope pushers living in the country where he fought for their freedom. The young Woody asks him why he fought and the old man says he didn't want to fight, but the war was for the captains of industry.

To a 7 year old kid, he gets it in his head that its a singular villian - the Captain of Industry and decides when he grows up , he's going to devote his life to being a super hero and defeat the Captain of Industry.

So he an adult going around fighting bad guys with all these tactics that a 7 year old would think of - only its not a comedy, it would suck as a comedy, its a drama with some humor sprinkled into it but Harrelson does a very credible job of playing off being this mentally handicapped adult who thinks he is a super hero called Defendor.

Its a good movie to watch with your wife. But its not a feel good movie.

Have we talked about the David Spade prank show Fameless in here? I get the feeling that some of the skits may be staged (but I think that about every reality show), but some of them are funny as hell...

Just saw that the Rock is the highest paid actor right now. I admit that I like Ballers on HBO. Glad the second season has started. Also stars Rob Corddry and John David Washington, Denzel's son.

If you are a rick and morty fan, they re-enact the dialog of a Georgia court case, its hilarious. its still funny if you haven't heard of them

ECat, where is the original link to that video? I like the description. Going to post it on another forum.

Wonder what will happen to that judge? I can understand losing your cool when spoken to like that, but when he got to the point of telling the guy to jack off in court, he has officially lost control of the courtroom, which is pretty much his sole function at that stage in any hearing...

I found it on reddit, and then realized it was a youtube video - and youtube videos are easier to link so I did that

here is the link that started it

http://www.geek.com/news/judge-morty-ar ... s-1663304/

but if you're asking about the original video between the defendent and judge, I think from what I can gather it was just a transcript that started floating around the interweb

that defedent was straight up crazy but he was very good at turning the conversation back around on the judge (or lawyer) wanting to suck his dick. Seriously, that's a skill...a crazy demented abused skill, but a skill nonetheless.

I love the Your Momma line. That just cracked me up.

Also fuck man is a good one. Also the clip of the court reporter is just perfect also.

Also good to see Dr. Seuss was in the audience watching it.

my favorite part was early on

"so you're telling me if I defend myself in your court, you're gonna find me guilty"

"yea, probably"

Kept saying kangaroo court and telling the judge to jump and down was solid as well.

Would have loved to heard the real voices behind this but Rick and Morty to me makes it even more fantastic.

Judge blew it. Most judges would have had him forcibly removed in handcuffs much earlier than he was. In 1968, the judge actually put a muzzle on one of the Chicago 7
