I'd heard tickets were selling like crazy

Honestly I'd get a Cinci jersey (or kit or whatever its called)

but just for hometown pride.

At the British Open today, I have never seen a final pairing collectively play as well as Mickelson and Stenson did today. Mickelson lost the tournament on Saturday.

Great match - not often you have a Major turned into match play by the twosome in the final round.

Scary thing is Stenson missed two fairly short ones that would have given him a 61 - as good as Phil was Henrick was better.

Think Phil has now finished runner up in just about every manner possible.

Phil lipped out on two holes, including a chip shot over the trap, but even if both of those had gone in he still would've lost by 1...

Granted those shots going down wouldn't put any pressure on the field and how they shot.

Yes, obviously if he had knocked in that first chip the whole rest of the match would've played out completely differently, for him as well as Stenson, but I did mean it as if everything else played out precisely as it did, which clearly it wouldn't have. I felt like Stenson really won it when he got up and down after Phil had landed it on the green for a potential eagle, which he barely missed, and Stenson was way off in the gorse (was that the 17th hole?). That was looking like almost an automatic pick up of one shot for Phil and possibly even 2, but getting the birdie there and staying 2 shots up was the back breaker...

but 11 shots ahead of third place and 14 shots ahead for stenson--glad he won one finally

Yes that would have gotten real interesting - if it had just trickled in he might have had to come out sideways or backwards
