I heard someone trying to talk about how exciting it is to watch a team find its identity during a rebuilding season.

That kid we got from L.A. might be a stud in a few years but this year is going to be rough.

Yeah. He's starting in AAA because Phillips keeps declining trades. I wouldn't say it's exciting but it is what it is. Might as well enjoy it and hope they grow. Not a good start though when you have an entire starting rotation start the season on the DL. Pitching is going to be their problem and it's going to be ugly.

I'd say we have 4 years at least of this before we see progress

that's why they dumped the salary. We weren't going to win with them and they were going to be old and overpaid by the time we rebuilt around them
