A real shame, some health insurors posting multi-million dollar losses. Too bad it wasn't the taxpayers picking up the tab, right?

Funny how it went from "she made the whole thing up", "never happened", "never touched her", "delusional".. to

"protecting the candidate", "she wielded a pen", "could've been a tiny bomb". The exact same day the video went public.

Ok, so the fact that healthcare stocks are doing well offsets the average person's downside of having higher premiums...

Actually those were just a couple of health care companies mentioned having losses. 980 million in losses in a 3 trillion dollar industry. My premiums are less than they were 6 years ago...howyoudoin'?

Nothing kills a conversation quicker than the topic turning to insurance.

Because white people / cops aren't doing the shooting. There are no headlines there. There are no chances to get in front of the camera. Black lives only matter when it is opportunity to fund raise. Period.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

I just drove from Atlanta to Tampa. On I-75 between Macon and the Florida line, there at least 50 billboards advertising massage parlors/porn shops, and another 50 billboards advertising fundamentalist Christianity (eg "Evolution is a lie!" and "Read the Bible and all your problems will be solved!") Plus a dozen or so BIG confederate flags.

No wonder Yankees driving to Florida on vacation think the South is weird.

And then when you got to Tampa you were greeted by the world's largest confederate flag flying by the intersection of I-75 and I-4.

Protest marches in black neighborhoods take many different forms http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/colu ... olumn.html

Just last Friday, about 25 pastors from around the city held a midnight vigil in the Back of the Yards neighborhood where several recent shooting deaths have occurred. On Saturday, the ministers went house to house asking residents to decry violence and handing out red door-hangers with a verse from Exodus that reads: "And when I see the blood, I will pass over you."

On Sunday they took their Preservation of Life Campaign to their pulpits.

On Wednesday morning, the executive director and president of a North Lawndale group called Mothers Opposed to Violence Everywhere and a handful of others marched across their neighborhood. Their goal was to try to reason with a group of gang members in the hopes that they won't retaliate for a murder the day before.
