Mmmmm. I didnt really like either Duke or Baylor but figured one would make the sweet 16 out of these 4, and then I chose the other to get beat in the first round. It appears maybe I should've gone Baylor.

I'm sure the PNC arena is heavily rooting for UNC-W. Certainly there are some actual UNC-W fans in attendance, and every Carolina fan there is of course rooting for them. Reminds me of when Davidson upset Georgetown in 2008, every Carolina fan was pulling for Davidson and the arena was about 75% Carolina fans (plus more Davidson fans). Steph Curry put on a show that day...

So UNC-W hits more shots and almost three times as many 3's as Dook and loses by 5. Maybe the fact that Dook had 20 more free throws and made 14 more had something to do with it...

I had it wrong. Evidently Dook shot 24 more free throws than UNC-W and made 17 more. And still only won by 5. They really are not very good this year. They'll probably catch fire for a game or two and hit some ridiculous amount of 3's, but they won't be able to ride that for a long run, even in their weak ass bracket. Unless this absurd free throw disparity continues apace, which I doubt they'll be able to get away with against name teams with more viewers. Damn I wish they had lost. I also wish goldie had been doing the play by play for that game, disputing every foul...

Gayson Allen shot two fewer free throws than the entire UNC-W team, and made more free throws than the entire UNC-W team. Jesus...

Damn, I had Baylor making it to the regional final. On the bright side, it looks like almost everyone else had them advancing to the Sweet16 as well, so I won't lose too much ground on that one...
