We beat UK on a buzzer beater in overtime, but it was never a game that was gonna lead to storming the court.

btw, there is no rule that says throwing the ball down is an automatic technical
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

Of course there isn't. Everyone knows that you might get one if you spike the ball though. There is no list of like hundreds of things that are automatic technicals or whatever there would need to be.

Apparently kids today are conflating this current UK team with past UK teams.

Just consider every misplaced court-storming incident this year to be kids storming on behalf of teams that had to go against Brow and KAT in years past.

no everyone doesn't know that - its always been if you are angry or in defiance of a ref, not exuberance and its never been in relation to exuberance

I think aTm is more right than you. A couple years back, any spiking started resulting in techs, by and large. Stupid, but true.

give me an example of a spike that wasn't done in frustration being a technical

I probably can't...but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

Personally, the situation I do remember was from a few years ago in a Lakers game. Something happened where Kobe made a bone-headed play (like dribbled the ball out of bounds himself) and he spiked the ball (albeit in frustration, but not at a ref) but couldn't catch the bounce back. The ref gave him a tech and he was pleading his case. I don't know if I've seen many spiked balls that occurred in celebration with time still on the clock.

like the announcer said

if he throws the ball up - its not a technical

he throws the ball down - and Pat Adams instinctively reacts to it as a technical without any context

because he's a dickhead

3:10 left in the game and it appears Florida is intentionally fouling our worst shooter while we have a 13 point lead

interesting strategy

doesn't help that he's actually shooting pretty well

Here 'ya go Hedge. I know how much you like these highlights. BTW... Florida shot 16 free throws in the first half... Kentucky didn't get an attempt.

Playing for the ACC championship at Duke, last game of the season, just win the game and we're ACC regular season champs. Pretty simple, and we should beat them by double digits. We'll see...
The only thing you'll find out after Saturday's game is who won. You're just fooling yourself trying to find meaning in these games. In college hoops, the only game that truly matters is the last one you play.

If we lose again to this shittly Dook team, we officially suck...

Big Ten champs!!

Get knocked out by 12 / 13 seed in tourney.

Mark it down.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.
