Re: Ostensibly Hoops
UNC hit the threes today they looked like the best team I have seen all year 6 guys had 10 points Meeks had 8 and Paige was the 8 th leading scorer. IF UNc hits 5 or threes a game they will be tough to beat.

Puck Furdue.
That is all.
That is all.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

It was Pat Adams giving the game to A&M
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

I knew he was gonna get a T immediately then was surprised the call didn't come instantly. He probably didn't want to call it.

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
KSR has a video of the last play......2 A & M violations... first, the guy that put up the shot did a Grayson Allen and his foot hit the floor before shooting and the guy that put the rebound in pushed Skall to get the rebound. The T was ridiculous...refs should have looked the other way. Even Bilas thought so.... Cheaters..

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
Lol. Anyway...the bullshit Adams technicals were actually even in this game. He walked across the floor to confront Kennedy while everybody was huddled up for a media timeout after a foul. Somehow Kennedy ends up being T'd up. The guy had not received a technical foul at A&M in the 5 years he's been here but he gets one during a timeout after an innocuous foul? So an 8 point lead was cut to 4 on Ulis free throws.

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
15-1 offensive rebounds along with Willis rolling his ankle is the game
but that T on the kid was a judgement call and wasn't the spirit of why that rule was created.
its a dick move by Pat Adams

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
SEC officials to review technical.........
Jay Bilas's thoughts on the T...
Late in Kentucky's 79-77 overtime loss to Texas A&M on Saturday night, Wildcats big man Isaac Humphries was assessed a technical foul for throwing the ball.
Humphries had just grabbed the ball with less than 10 seconds remaining at a one-point lead over the Aggies. He was celebrating the play with his teammates when he threw the ball down and it bounced away and down the court.
Kentucky guard Tyler Ulis and Humphries stated their case with the official, but the technical was called.
ESPN analyst Jay Bilas, who was on the broadcast team for the game, disagreed with the call on Humphries.
"Are they (giving him a technical for that) ... they can't be," Bilas said just after the play. "They teed him up for that. Wow. We have officially gone into Little League. He spiked the ball, but it was after they made the play - so he wasn't doing it in anger, he was happy.
"Look, I get it - but c'mon," Bilas continued. "The technical foul is justified, I understand it. I just think you look the other way on that. It wasn't done in anger at a call. There's emotion in this game, and those emotions showed. He wasn't trying to show anybody up. He's just happy about a play being made."
Bilas wondered if it would have been handled differently had the ball not gotten away from Humphries.
"If he had caught it what would the difference have been," Bilas wondered. "What if he had thrown it down and caught it? Look, I'm not blaming the officials. I get it. But they wouldn't have been fired if they didn't call it."

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
My guess is they won't review the technical where the referee stormed into our timeout huddle, though. They also won't change the...scoreboard.

Tonight should be fun at Cintas. I'll be parked on my couch of course but I'm looking forward to finally watching my first game of the year.

There isn't really a valid reason but I don't like Valentine on Michigan St. He's a great player no doubt, but I don't like him.
Probably because in the tourney he's the kind of guy that will single handedly send UK home.
