I don't like either one since college.

All of us have at least 1 blue velvet bag stuck in the back of a closet somewhere

Vodkas made up like 5 of the top 10 with 1 of them being that water downed brand you buy by the gallon at Kroger. I'm sure Rat knows what I'm talking about. Gotta love vodka bottles that have their own handle.

But I pretty much drink only Vodka now when I want alcohol. I occasionally drink a Stella when I go out for dinner. Cutting out soft drinks has noticeably increased my casual beer drinking.

I'm not a vodka guy. I'll drink it of course, but I am a fairly dedicated member of the Brotherhood of the Brown Liquor: bourbon, scotch, and other whiskies. Dark rums and the occaisional tequila round out the most of my drinking.

Ditto, although I rarely drink rum. I bought some rye whiskey online a few months ago by the name of Whistle Pig, out of Vermont (I think). It's pretty good, but b/w scotch and other types of whiskey, I'm probably 85% scotch and 15% everything else. But for total alcohol consumption, I'm still at least 75% beer and wine and 25% liquor. Actually it's probably 80/20...

booze in winter seems to be my pattern

got some gentleman jack and some 15 y/o scotch glemlivet got both for Christmas cracked them open x 2 weeks ago both half gone

go on a gol trip in 3 weeks likely lots of dewars and jack those 4 days

she hits that once or twice a week and leaves it out on the counter so I'll take a sip now and then. Its tolerable.

Bourbon is like drinking heat to me.

I mix it up. Bourbon (Bulleit or Michter's), Rye (Bulleit), Scotch (Glenfarclas 10 or 12) and sometimes I'll even sip some Armagnac my brother swears by in the winter. Summer is vodka (Tito's most likely), tequila (Casamigos) and sometimes cachaca (61). I don't like beer. It weighs me down and messes up my stomach something awful the next day. I'm on a slight detox this month, though. I may have had 3 drinks the whole month.
