I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

Re: UCLA Bruins
so I just sat thru The Revenant.
I can't decide if its a good movie or not - much of the movie is DiCaprio alone fighting to survive. I don't see an Oscar in it for him but I really have no idea.
I also watched The Big Short. I really enjoyed that.
Finally, took the family to see Star Wars. I won't give anything away but I will say I didn't like it.....at all.

I thought it was a little cheesy and not what I expected. It didn't suck but it wasn't anything more than nostalgia and the plot line was simple. Also, have Adam from "Girls" play Vader Jr. sort of blew it for me a little bit.

Re: UCLA Bruins
It was just like the last Raiders of the Lost Ark movie, the hype was so big, there was no way the movie could live up to it.
I thought Star Wars was a decent movie, but nothing even remotely close to how people have been acting about it.

"Girls" was a pretty funny show (was because I don't have HBO anymore) and you could see titty, Lena Dunham's titty but still titty.

Did anybody talk about the Netflix series "Making of a Murderer"? I can't stop watching it. It's the kind of thing that will get eCat's blood boiling...

I had to stop watching after the third episode. Watching what the cops did to that kid to get his "confession" was just too much.hedge wrote:Did anybody talk about the Netflix series "Making of a Murderer"? I can't stop watching it. It's the kind of thing that will get eCat's blood boiling...

Re: UCLA Bruins
I was just reading about that show last night.
Isn't that the same subject as the serial podcast you were talking about last year on here Cletus?

That's why I didn't even start it. These things make me so angry that it can never be enjoyable.Cletus wrote:I had to stop watching after the third episode. The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.

It's definitely not enjoyable, but it is fascinating and shocking...

Re: UCLA Bruins
I liked it. The last Indiana Jones movie was shit, though. I do agree that its been overrated a bit, but IMO people like it a lot mainly because the last three were such garbage.eCat wrote:It was just like the last Raiders of the Lost Ark movie, the hype was so big, there was no way the movie could live up to it.

Re: UCLA Bruins
I watched the first episode. it was good but there are several true crime shows like that on TV all the time. I keep wanting to watch the next episode but I'm in the middle of watching every episode of "The Office," which I had never really seen before a few weeks ago. Can't believe it was on for 9 seasons.
